As nine Tibetan villages nestle among the area of mountains and lakes, this region is referred to as Jiuzhaigou. It covers an area of 720 square kilometers, most parts being heavily wooded.<\/p>\n<p>  \u4e5d\u5be8\u6c9f\u5730\u5904\u5cb7\u5c71\u5c71\u8109\u5357\u6bb5\u5c15\u5c14\u7eb3\u5cf0\u5317\u9e93\uff0c\u662f\u957f\u6c5f\u6c34\u7cfb\u5609\u9675\u6c5f\u6e90\u5934\u7684\u4e00\u6761\u652f\u6c9f\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u9752\u85cf\u9ad8\u539f\u5411\u56db\u5ddd\u76c6\u5730\u8fc7\u6e21\u7684\u5730\u5e26\uff0c\u5730\u8d28\u7ed3\u6784\u590d\u6742\u3002\u8fd9\u91cc\u9ad8\u5dee\u60ac\u6b8a\u3001\u6c14\u5019\u591a\u6837\u3001\u5c71\u660e\u6c34\u79c0\u3002<\/p>\n<p>  Located in the north of Gaerna Peak of the southern part of Min Mountain range, Jiuzhaigou is a branch of the source of Jialing River of the Changjiang River. It is also a transition area of Tibetan Plateau to Sichuan Basin featuring complicated geological structure. Here different heights stand in sharp contrast, the weather is varied and the mountains green and waters clear.<\/p>\n<p>  \u4e5d\u5be8\u6c9f\u4e3b\u6c9f\u5448&ldquo;Y&rdquo;\u5b57\u5f62\uff0c\u603b\u957f50\u4f59\u516c\u91cc\u3002\u6c9f\u4e2d\u5206\u5e03\u6709\u591a\u5904\u6e56\u6cca\u3001\u7011\u5e03\u7fa4\u548c\u9499\u534e\u6ee9\u6d41\u7b49\u3002\u6c34\u662f\u4e5d\u5be8\u6c9f\u666f\u89c2\u7684\u4e3b\u89d2\u3002\u78a7\u7eff\u6676\u83b9\u7684\u6eaa\u6c34\u597d\u4f3c\u9879\u94fe\u822c\u7a7f\u63d2\u4e8e\u68ee\u6797\u4e0e\u6d45\u6ee9\u4e4b\u95f4\u3002\u8272\u5f69\u6591\u6593\u7684\u6e56\u6cca\u548c\u6c14\u52bf\u5b8f\u4f1f\u7684\u7011\u5e03\u4ee4\u4eba\u76ee\u4e0d\u6687\u63a5\u3002<\/p>\n<p>  The main valley of Jiuzhaigou is in the shape of capital letter &ldquo;Y&rdquo;, a<em><\/em>bout 50km long. In the valley, there are several lakes, waterfalls, and calcareous water flow. Water is the main scene of the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Spot. The dark green and glowing brook water seems as if a necklace embedded between the forest and shallow beach. The glowing ripples in lakes and the overwhelming cataract make up an impressive and exciting feast for the eyes.<\/p>\n<p>  \u539f\u59cb\u68ee\u6797\u8986\u76d6\u4e86\u4e5d\u5be8\u6c9f\u4e00\u534a\u4ee5\u4e0a\u7684\u9762\u79ef\u3002\u6797\u4e2d\u690d\u7269\u79cd\u7c7b\u7e41\u591a\uff0c\u73b0\u6709\u5929\u7136\u68ee\u6797\u8fd13\u4e07\u516c\u9877\uff0c\u690d\u72692000\u4f59\u79cd\u3002\u591a\u79cd\u91ce\u751f\u52a8\u7269\u7e41\u884d\u6816\u606f\u4e8e\u6b64\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d\u5305\u62ec\u810a\u690e\u52a8\u7269170\u79cd\u3001\u9e1f\u7c7b141\u79cd\uff0c\u5c5e\u56fd\u5bb6\u4fdd\u62a4\u7684\u670917\u79cd\u3002\u6797\u5730\u4e0a\u79ef\u6ee1\u539a\u539a\u7684\u82d4\u85d3\uff0c\u6563\u843d\u7740\u9e1f\u517d\u7684\u7fbd\u6bdb\uff0c\u5145\u6ee1\u539f\u59cb\u68ee\u6797\u7684\u98ce\u8c8c\uff0c\u4f7f\u4eba\u4eff\u4f5b\u7f6e\u8eab\u4e8e\u7f8e\u5999\u7684\u4e16\u5916\u5929\u5730\u3002<\/p>\n<p>  The primitive forests cover over half of the total area of Jiuzhaigou. There is a variety of plants in the forests and the natural forests spread as far as 30,000 hectares, including 2,000 kinds of vegetation. Wild life of various species inhabits and multiplies here, including 170 kinds of vertebrata and 141 kinds of birds, 17 of which are under state preservation.
