The prefecture is  nicknamed &quot;Aerial Garden&quot; for its luxuriant and multi-layered primitive  woods and tropical rain forests\uff0c which are teeming with animals and  plants. Renowned as a huge natural zoo\uff0c Xishuangbanna&#8217;s rain forest and  mo<em><\/em>nsoon jungles provide a habitat for nearly 1000 species of animals.  Within thick and boundless forests wild elephants and wild oxen ramble  a<em><\/em>bout\uff0c with peacocks in their pride\uff0c gibbons at play\uff0c and hornbills  whispering.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>13\u79cd\u91ce\u751f\u52a8\u7269\u53d7\u653f\u5e9c\u4fdd\u62a4\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u72d0\u7334\uff0c\u957f\u81c2\u733f\uff0c\u7ea2\u9888\u9e64\uff0c\u8910\u9888\u7280\u9e1f\u548c\u7eff\u5b54\u96c0\u7b49\u3002\u5728\u50a3\u65cf\u4eba\u7684\u773c\u4e2d\u7eff\u5b54\u96c0\u4ee3\u8868\u7740\u548c\u5e73\uff0c\u6b22\u4e50\u548c\u597d\u8fd0\u3002\u5176\u4f18\u96c5\u7684\u59ff\u52bf\u8ba9\u4e13\u4e1a\u7684\u821e\u8005\u4e5f\u81ea\u53f9\u5f17\u5982\u3002\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5730\u533a\u6709\u77405000\u79cd\u690d\u7269\uff0c\u96c6\u4e2d\u4e86\u5168\u4e2d\u56fd\u516d\u5206\u4e4b\u4e00\u7684\u8d44\u6e90\u3002\u8fd9\u4e5f\u4e3a\u5b83\u8d62\u5f97\u4e86&ldquo;\u690d\u7269\u738b\u56fd\u7687\u51a0\u5b9d\u77f3&rdquo;\u7684\u7f8e\u8a89\u3002<\/div>\n<div>Thirteen  species of wild life enjoy state protection\uff0c including loris\uff0c the  gibbons\uff0c the red-necked cranes\uff0c the brown-neck horn-bills\uff0c and the green  peacocks\uff0c which to the Dai people are a symbol of peace\uff0c happiness and  good fortune and whose graceful postures can put professio<em><\/em>nal dancers to  shame. The region has 5000 kinds of plants or a<em><\/em>bout one-sixth of the  total in China. This has earned it the renown and sobriquet &quot;The  moo<em><\/em>nstone on the Crown of the Kingdom of Plants&quot;.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\u5728\u8fd9\u690d\u7269\u738b\u56fd\u4e2d\uff0c\u5145\u6ee1\u7740\u4ee4\u4eba\u7740\u8ff7\u7684\u795e\u5947\u690d\u7269\u3002\u53d8\u8272\u82b1\uff0c\u6bcf\u5929\u80fd\u6539\u53d8\u4e09\u6b21\u989c\u8272\u3002\u8df3\u821e\u8349\uff0c\u5176\u53f6\u5b50\u80fd\u8f7b\u8f7b\u5730\u4e0a\u4e0b\u821e\u52a8\u3002\u66f4\u4ee4\u4eba\u60ca\u5947\u7684\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u795e\u79d8\u679c\uff0c\u5b83\u80fd\u5b8c\u5168\u5730\u6539\u53d8\u5473\u9053\uff0c\u5316\u9178\u4e3a\u751c\u3002<\/div>\n<div>Among  these are such fascinating o<em><\/em>nes as the &quot;color-changing flower&quot; whose  colors change three times daily and the &quot;dancing herb&quot; whose leaves  rotate gently. Then there is &quot;mysterious fruit&quot; which reverse tastes\uff0c  turning sour to sweet.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div>\u767e\u4e07\u5e74\u524d\u7684\u6811\u79cd\u81f3\u4eca\u8fd8\u5728\u4e0d\u65ad\u7e41\u884d\u3002\u8336\u6811\u4e4b\u738b\uff0c\u5f53\u5c40\u63d0\u5230\u81f3\u5c11\u6709800\u5c81\u9ad8\u9f84\uff0c\u4ecd\u5728\u53d1\u82bd\u751f\u957f\u3002\u540c\u65f6\uff0c\u5b83\u8fd8\u6709\u7740\u53e6\u4e00\u6bb5\u975e\u51e1\u7684\u8f89\u714c\uff0c\u8457\u540d\u7684\u666e\u6d31\u8336\u6545\u4e61\u3002\u5728\u897f\u53cc\u7248\u7eb3\uff0c\u6709\u7740\u8fd9\u6837\u4e00\u53e5\u6c11\u8c1a\uff1a\u72ec\u6728\u4e5f\u6210\u6797\uff0c\u67af\u679d\u4ea6\u9022\u6625\u3002<\/div>\n<div>Species  of trees that go back a million years are still propagating themselves.  The &quot;King of Tea Trees \uff0c&quot;which authorities say is at least 800 years  old\uff0c co<em><\/em>ntinues to sprout\uff0c adding extraordinary splendor to the homeland  of the famous Pu&#8217;er tea.
