It&rsquo;s actually a Chinese ex<em><\/em>pression that describes one as &ldquo;not sensible&rdquo;, &ldquo;not considerate&rdquo; or &ldquo;not caring&rdquo;. \u5fc3\u80ba x\u012bnm&eacute;i (heart, lung) in Chinese culture usually symbolizes the place wher one&rsquo;s co<em><\/em>nscience and feelings reside.<\/p>\n<p>  If&nbsp; \u6ca1\u5fc3\u6ca1\u80ba m&eacute;ix\u012bnm&eacute;if&egrave;i (lit. no heart, no lungs) is used in serious tone, then it&rsquo;s serious criticism. If it&rsquo;s used in a more relaxed, half kidding tone, then it&rsquo;s not a serious accusation. I&rsquo;ll show you the difference in the following two examples:<\/p>\n<p>  &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; n\u01d0 zh&egrave;y&agrave;ng du&igrave;d&agrave;i z&igrave;j\u01d0 de f&ugrave;m\u01d4\uff0c zh\u0113n sh&igrave; m&eacute;ix\u012bnm&eacute;if&egrave;i!<\/p>\n<p>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u4f60\u8fd9\u6837\u5bf9\u5f85\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u7236\u6bcd\uff0c\u771f\u662f\u6ca1\u5fc3\u6ca1\u80ba!<\/p>\n<p>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You&rsquo;re a person with no conscience, treating your parents that way! (in a kidding tone)<\/p>\n<p>  &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>  \u6ca1\u5934\u6ca1\u8111 m&eacute;i t&oacute;u m&eacute;i n\u01ceo (lit. no head, no brain) is another word that co<em><\/em>nstructed in the similar way . \u6ca1\u5934\u6ca1\u8111 m&eacute;i t&oacute;u m&eacute;i n\u01ceo means &ldquo;doing things without careful thinking&ldquo;.
