According to records, there were Villager Community Co<em><\/em>ntests and sacrificial offering activities at temple fairs as early as in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. It was passed down from generation to generation over centuries. By the middle Ming Dynasty, stages for performance could be found in temples and ancestral shrines which were available in all villages.<br \/>  1949\u5e74\u81f320\u4e16\u7eaa80\u5e74\u4ee3\uff0c\u5d4a\u5dde\u6c11\u95f4\u97f3\u4e50\u9010\u6e10\u5f62\u6210\u4e1c\u897f\u4e61\u4e24\u5927\u6d3e\u7cfb\uff0c\u897f\u4e61\u4e00\u6d3e\u4ee5\u957f\u4e50\u9547\u519c\u6c11\u4e50\u961f\u4e3a\u4ee3\u8868\uff0c\u5728\u4f20\u627f\u4e2d\u9010\u6e10\u5f62\u6210\u9523\u9f13\u4e0e\u5439\u594f\u76f8\u7ed3\u5408\u7684\u6f14\u594f\u65b9\u5f0f\uff0c\u5176\u4e2d&quot;\u5c16\u53f7&quot;\u7684\u5439\u594f\u65b9\u6cd5\uff0c\u5c06\u5439\u6c14\u6f14\u594f\u6539\u4e3a\u5438\u6c14\u6f14\u594f\uff0c\u4f7f\u5f97\u53f7\u58f0\u66f4\u52a0\u9ad8\u4ea2\u6fc0\u8d8a\uff0c\u7a7f\u900f\u529b\u3001\u4f20\u9012\u529b\u66f4\u5f3a\u3002\u8fd9\u79cd\u5438\u6c14\u6f14\u594f\u6cd5\u5728\u5168\u56fd\u6c11\u4e50\u5439\u594f\u4e50\u5668\u7684\u6f14\u594f\u4e2d\u662f\u6781\u4e3a\u72ec\u7279\u7684\u3002\u5176\u4e50\u961f\u7f16\u5236\u7684\u7279\u70b9\u662f&quot;\u4e94\u9523\u3001\u4e09\u9f13\u3001\u4e09\u5927\u9523&quot;\u914d\u5957\u7ec4\u5408\uff0c\u5439\u594f\u4e50\u5668\u5305\u62ec\u5522\u5450\u3001\u957f\u53f7\u7b49\uff0c\u53e6\u5916\u8fd8\u6709\u4e1d\u5f26\u4e50\u5668\u3002\u4e3b\u8981\u4f20\u7edf\u4e50\u66f2\u6709\u300a\u8f95\u95e8\u300b\u3001\u300a\u7ee3\u7403\u300b\u3001\u300a\u5992\u82b1\u300b\u3001\u300a\u5341\u756a\u300b\u3001\u300a\u8282\u8bd7\u300b\u3001\u300a\u5c06\u519b\u4ee4\u300b\u7b49\u3002\u4e1c\u4e61\u4e00\u6d3e\u4ee5\u9ec4\u6cfd\u519c\u6c11\u4e50\u961f\u4e3a\u4ee3\u8868\uff0c\u504f\u91cd\u4e8e\u4e1d\u5f26\u4e50\u6f14\u594f\uff0c\u98ce\u683c\u503e\u5411\u4e8e\u7ea4\u67d4\u7ec6\u817b\uff0c\u66f2\u76ee\u591a\u4e3a\u6c11\u6b4c\u5c0f\u8c03\u53ca\u4e00\u4e9b\u4f20\u7edf\u7684\u6c11\u95f4\u4e1d\u7af9\u4e50\u66f2\u3002<br \/>  From 1949 to the 1980s, Shengzhou folk music had gradually developed into the eastern school and western school. The western school, represented by the villager orchestra of Changle Town, formed the playing way combining gong and drum with wind performances during the course of inheritance. The performing technique of &quot;Jianhao&quot;, one of the wind performances, transferred exhaling performance into inhaling performance, making the trumpet more resounding, vehement, penetrating and attractive, which was quite unique among performing techniques of folk wind instruments in China. The composition of the orchestra is featured by a complete set of &quot;five gongs, three drums and three large gongs&quot;, as well as the wind instruments such as suona (a woodwind instrument) and trombone, and some stringed and woodwind instruments. Major traditio<em><\/em>nal musical works are Outer Gate of Government Official (or Yuan Men), A Ball Made of Strips of Silk (or Xiu Qiu), Jealous of Flowers (or Du Hua), Shi Fan, Jie Shi, The Order of the General (or Jiang Jun Ling) and so on. The eastern school, represented by the villager orchestra of Huangze Town, laid particular emphasis on playing the silk-string instruments, the musical style of which was inclined to be soft and exquisite. Its major musical works are popular tunes of folk music and some traditio<em><\/em>nal folk stringed and woodwind instrument music.<br \/>  \u5d4a\u5dde\u6c11\u95f4\u97f3\u4e50\u662f\u8d8a\u5267\u97f3\u4e50\u7684\u57fa\u7840\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u8d8a\u5267\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u7ec4\u6210\u90e8\u5206\uff0c\u5b83\u5bf9\u8d8a\u5267\u5531\u8154\u53ca\u4f34\u594f\u97f3\u4e50\u7684\u53d1\u5c55\u4e5f\u4ea7\u751f\u4e86\u4e00\u5b9a\u7684\u5f71\u54cd\u3002\u5d4a\u5dde\u5439\u6253\u4e5f\u662f&quot;\u6d59\u4e1c\u9523\u9f13&quot;\u7684\u4e3b\u8981\u7ec4\u6210\u90e8\u5206\u4e4b\u4e00\uff0c\u5bf9\u4e8e\u6d59\u4e1c\u6c11\u95f4\u97f3\u4e50\u7684\u4ea7\u751f\u53d1\u5c55\u53ca\u6d59\u4e1c\u6c11\u4fd7\u98ce\u60c5\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u5177\u6709\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u53c2\u8003\u4ef7\u503c\u3002<br \/>  Shengzhou folk music is not o<em><\/em>nly fundamental to the musical part of Shaoxing opera but also a vital compo<em><\/em>nent of Shaoxing opera. Additionally, it has had certain influence on the development of vocal and instrumental music in Shaoxing opera.
