The painting vividly represents a night party hosted by Han Xizai, an official of the Southern Tang dynasty, through a series of scrolls. The painting features smooth lines, fine brushwork and a vivid presentation.<br \/>  \u300a\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u591c\u5bb4\u56fe\u300b\u5168\u957f\u4e09\u7c73\uff0c\u5171\u5206\u4e94\u6bb5\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e00\u6bb5\u753b\u9762\u4ee5\u5c4f\u98ce\u76f8\u9694\u3002\u7b2c\u4e00\u6bb5\u63cf\u7ed8\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u4e0e\u5bbe\u5ba2\u542c\u6b4c\u5973\u5f39\u7435\u7436\u7684\u60c5\u666f\uff0c\u7b2c\u4e8c\u6bb5\u63cf\u7ed8\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u4e3a\u821e\u5973\u51fb\u9f13\u7684\u573a\u666f\uff0c\u7b2c\u4e09\u6bb5\u63cf\u7ed8\u5bb4\u4f1a\u8fdb\u884c\u4e2d\u95f4\u7684\u4f11\u606f\u573a\u9762\uff0c\u7b2c\u56db\u6bb5\u63cf\u7ed8\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u5750\u542c\u7ba1\u4e50\u7684\u573a\u9762\uff0c\u7b2c\u4e94\u6bb5\u63cf\u7ed8\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u7684\u4f17\u5bbe\u5ba2\u4e0e\u6b4c\u5973\u4eec\u8c08\u8bdd\u7684\u60c5\u666f\u3002<br \/>  The painting is approximately 3 meters, and is split into five distinct sections naturally by folding screens. The first section depicts Han Xizai and his guests listening to a pipa solo played by a girl. In the second section, Han Xizai is shown beating a drum for a dancing girl. The third section shows Han Xizai and his guest taking a rest. The fourth section depicts Han Xizai sitting listening to instrumental string music. In the fifth section, Han Xizai&rsquo;s guests are talking to the singers.<br \/>  \u4f5c\u8005\u628a\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u751f\u6d3b\u7684\u60c5\u666f\u63cf\u7ed8\u5f97\u6dcb\u6f13\u5c3d\u81f4\uff0c\u753b\u9762\u91cc\u7684\u6240\u6709\u4eba\u7269\u7684\u97f3\u5bb9\u7b11\u8c8c\u6829\u6829\u5982\u751f\u3002\u5728\u8fd9\u5e45\u5de8\u4f5c\u4e2d\uff0c\u753b\u6709\u56db\u5341\u591a\u4e2a\u795e\u6001\u5404\u5f02\u7684\u4eba\u7269\uff0c\u4e2a\u4e2a\u6027\u683c\u7a81\u51fa\uff0c\u795e\u60c5\u63cf\u7ed8\u81ea\u7136\u3002<br \/>  The painting presents a vivid display of the night revels hosted by Han Xizai, and a colorful depiction more than 40 figures with different characters and appearances.<br \/>  \u7ed8\u5236\u80cc\u666f<br \/>  Background<br \/>  \u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u662f\u4e94\u4ee3\u65f6\u5317\u6d77\u4eba\uff0c\u6587\u7ae0\u4e66\u753b\uff0c\u540d\u9707\u4e00\u65f6\u3002\u5176\u7236\u4eb2\u56e0\u4e8b\u88ab\u8bdb\uff0c\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u9003\u81f3\u6c5f\u5357\uff0c\u6295\u5954\u5357\u5510\u3002<br \/>  Han Xizai was born in Beihai during the Five Dynasties, and became famous for his articles and paintings. After his father was killed, Han Xizai surrendered and pledged his allegiance to the Southern Tang.<br \/>  \u5f00\u59cb\u65f6\uff0c\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u6df1\u53d7\u5357\u5510\u4e2d\u4e3b\u674e\u749f\u7684\u5ba0\u4fe1\uff0c\u674e\u715c\u7ee7\u4f4d\u540e\uff0c\u5f53\u65f6\u5317\u65b9\u7684\u540e\u5468\u5a01\u80c1\u7740\u5357\u5510\u7684\u5b89\u5168\uff0c\u674e\u715c\u4e00\u65b9\u9762\u5411\u5317\u5468\u5c48\u8fb1\u6c42\u548c\uff0c\u4e00\u65b9\u9762\u53c8\u5bf9\u5317\u65b9\u6765\u7684\u5b98\u5458\u767e\u822c\u731c\u7591\u3001\u9677\u5bb3\uff0c\u6574\u4e2a\u5357\u5510\u7edf\u6cbb\u96c6\u56e2\u5185\u6597\u4e89\u6fc0\u5316\u3002\u5728\u8fd9\u79cd\u73af\u5883\u4e4b\u4e2d\uff0c\u5b98\u5c45\u9ad8\u804c\u7684\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u4e3a\u4e86\u4fdd\u62a4\u81ea\u5df1\uff0c\u6545\u610f\u88c5\u626e\u6210\u751f\u6d3b\u8150\u8d25\u3001\u9189\u751f\u68a6\u6b7b\u7684\u7cca\u6d82\u4eba\uff0c\u597d\u8ba9\u674e\u715c\u4e0d\u8981\u6000\u7591\u4ed6\u4ee5\u6c42\u81ea\u4fdd\u3002<br \/>  At the very beginning, Han Xizai was favored by Li Jing, Emperor of the South Tang dynasty. When his son, Li Yu, succeeded to the throne, the Later Zhou dynasty located in the north was becoming a threat to the Southern Tang dynasty. While, Emperor Li Yu sued for peace but he also distrusted those officials who came from the north. As a result, the co<em><\/em>nflict within the ruling group became acute. In such a complex environment, Han Xizai, who was in a high position, pretended to live a dissolute life, so as to dispel Emperor Li Yu&rsquo;s doubt.<br \/>  \u4f46\u674e\u715c\u4ecd\u5bf9\u4ed6\u4e0d\u653e\u5fc3\uff0c\u5c31\u6d3e\u753b\u9662\u7684&ldquo;\u5f85\u8bcf&rdquo;\u987e\u95f3\u4e2d\u548c\u5468\u6587\u77e9\u5230\u4ed6\u5bb6\u91cc\u53bb\uff0c\u6697\u5730\u7aa5\u63a2\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u7684\u6d3b\u52a8\uff0c\u547d\u4ee4\u4ed6\u4eec\u628a\u6240\u770b\u5230\u7684\u4e00\u5207\u753b\u4e0b\u6765\u3002\u5927\u667a\u82e5\u611a\u7684\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u6545\u610f\u5c06\u4e0d\u95ee\u65f6\u4e8b\u3001\u6c89\u6e4e\u6b4c\u821e\u3001\u9189\u751f\u68a6\u6b7b\u7684\u5f62\u6001\u6765\u4e86\u4e00\u573a\u9163\u7545\u6dcb\u6f13\u7684\u8868\u6f14\u3002\u987e\u95f3\u4e2d\u51ed\u501f\u7740\u4ed6\u90a3\u654f\u6377\u7684\u6d1e\u5bdf\u529b\u548c\u60ca\u4eba\u7684\u8bb0\u5fc6\u529b\uff0c\u628a\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u5728\u5bb6\u4e2d\u7684\u591c\u5bb4\u8fc7\u7a0b\u9ed8\u8bb0\u5728\u5fc3\uff0c\u56de\u53bb\u540e\u5373\u523b\u6325\u7b14\u4f5c\u753b\uff0c\u674e\u715c\u770b\u4e86\u6b64\u753b\u540e\uff0c\u6682\u65f6\u653e\u8fc7\u4e86\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u7b49\u4eba\uff0c\u4e00\u5e45\u4f20\u4e16\u7cbe\u54c1\u5374\u56e0\u6b64\u800c\u6d41\u4f20\u4e0b\u6765\u3002<br \/>  Emperor Li still suspected him. Therefore, he sent two painters Gu Ho<em><\/em>ngzhong and Zhou Wenju to pry into Han Xizai&#8217;s private life and make a visual record of his behavior. Han Xizai took on the behavior of a loose person, indulging himself in music, dance, drinking, and having revels every night. So Gu Ho<em><\/em>ngzhong painted this picture from memory, according to what he had observed. After seeing the painting, Emperor Li let Han off. Thanks to Emperor Li&rsquo;s suspicion, a masterpiece of Chinese painting has been handed down to today.<br \/>  \u987e\u95f3\u4e2d\u7b80\u4ecb<br \/>  Introduction to Gu Hongzhong<br \/>  \u987e\u95f3\u4e2d\uff0c\u4e94\u4ee3\u5341\u56fd\u65f6\u5357\u5510\u4eba\u7269\u753b\u5bb6\uff0c\u66fe\u4efb\u5357\u5510\u753b\u9662\u5f85\u8bcf\uff0c\u7528\u7b14\u5706\u52b2\uff0c\u95f4\u4ee5\u65b9\u7b14\u8f6c\u6298\uff0c\u8bbe\u8272\u6d53\u4e3d\uff0c\u64c5\u957f\u63cf\u6479\u4eba\u7269\u795e\u60c5\u610f\u6001\uff0c\u4e0e\u5468\u6587\u77e9\u9f50\u540d\uff0c\u552f\u4e00\u4f20\u4e16\u4f5c\u54c1\u4e3a\u300a\u97e9\u7199\u8f7d\u591c\u5bb4\u56fe\u300b\u3002<br \/>  Gu Ho<em><\/em>ngzhong was a Chinese painter during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period of Chinese history. o<em><\/em>nce serving as an official in the painting academy of the Southern Tang dynasty, Gu Ho<em><\/em>ngzhong also excelled at figure painting. His paintings are marked by precise portraits of the figures, fine and co<em><\/em>ntinuous brush lines and delicate colors.
