“Death penalty!” The answer came in in a quiet voice but tough tone, with no interest in keeping the co<\/em>nversation going.<\/p>\n

Liu Mingtian went along with the suspect’s thoughts, “If it is true. Have you thought a<\/em>bout leaving anything to your family?”<\/p>\n

Zhuang Liqun kept silent for two seco<\/em>nds and then suddenly raised his voice, “What are you talking a<\/em>bout? I didn’t do anything. How could you arrest me just like that?”<\/p>\n

“We have proofs.” Liu Mingtian told him. Then he fished out a small notebook from his pocket and opened it. He then read out all the evidence items to the suspect.<\/p>\n

The last two he read were:<\/p>\n

The suspect entered the reservoir, wher Qi Youfa and Cui Yan were buried, on the day of murder. There are witness testimony and material evidence to support it.<\/p>\n

The bullet that was taken out from the victim was tested to match the gun that the suspect carried.<\/p>\n

When he finished reading, he closed his notebook and put it back inside his pocket. He then looked straight at Zhuang Liqun.<\/p>\n

Zhuang Liqun looked back at him for a<\/em>bout twenty seco<\/em>nds before he stopped and sighed disheartenedly.<\/p>\n
