There are 14 compound finals  (\u590d\u97f5\u6bcd) and 14 nasal finals (\u9f3b\u97f5\u6bcd).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compound finals:<\/strong> ai, ei, ui; ao, ou, iu; ie, &uuml;e; er; ia, iao; ua, uo, uai<br \/>  <strong>Nasal finals:<\/strong> an, en; in, un, &uuml;n; ang, eng, ing, ong; ian, iang, iong; uan, uang<\/p>\n<h3>Pro<em><\/em>nunciation Guide for ai, ei, ui<\/h3>\n<p>The following guide is given in terms of English pronunciation.
