She was also the oldest Emperor to ascend to the throne (at the age of 67), and one of the Emperors with the lo<em><\/em>ngest lifetime (died at the age of 82). She was the Empress of Emperor Gaozong (655-683), and then the Queen-Mother during the reign of Emperor Zho<em><\/em>ngzong and Emperor Ruizong (683-690) of the Tang Dynasty. Then she ascended the throne and changed the dynasty title from Tang to Zhou (690-705), renamed Luoyang as Shendu (God&#8217;s Capital) to be the capital city. Historically, this period was called Wuzhou or Nanzhou. In 705, she abdicated.
