Li Shiming, which means literally &ldquo;save the people and the world&rdquo;, was a statesman, military strategist, calligrapher and poet. Following his enthronement, he created the historically famous &ldquo;Reign of Zhenguan&rdquo;. During his reign, Tang China flourished eco<em><\/em>nomically and militarily by following his policies, which including eliminating separatist forces, listening to advice, advocating frugality and rehabilitating his people.
