"\u9ad8\u624b<\/strong>", literally meaning "tall hand", refers to people who excel at certain things or are professio<\/em>nal in a specific field. eg. \u821e\u8e48\u9ad8\u624b(dancing expert); \u8c61\u68cb\u9ad8\u624b(master chess player).<\/strong> " In Chinese, there are other "\u624b", referring to different kinds of people.

The Chinese phrase "\u521d\u751f\u725b\u728a\u4e0d\u6015\u864e(ch\u016b sh\u0113ng niú dú bú pà h\u01d4 )"<\/strong> means "newborn calves aren’t afraid of tigers,” describing how young people are fearless, unaware of danger, sometimes acting rashly because of their lack of experience. It can refer to wild arrogance and the overrating one’s own abilities. However, the ex<\/em>pression is mainly used to praise one’s courage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
