In Chinese, \u7ea2\u989c\u77e5\u5df1 hóngyánzh\u012bj\u01d0 (red soulmate) and \u84dd\u989c\u77e5\u5df1 lányánzh\u012bj\u01d0 (blue soulmate) are defined as the “fourth emotion” of human being. \u7ea2\u989c\u77e5\u5df1 hóngyánzh\u012bj\u01d0  refers to the female friend of a man that is also a soulmate of the man, but is not his lover. \u84dd\u989c\u77e5\u5df1 lányánzh\u012bj\u01d0 is a male friend of a woman instead. The other three emotions are \u4eb2\u60c5 q\u012bnqíng (blood), \u53cb\u60c5 y\u01d2uqíng (friendship) and \u7231\u60c5 àiqíng (romantic love). People have different opinions towards the “fourth emotion” since it is easily to go beyond the border and become romantic love in an affair.<\/p>\n
