It can be used alone or in a variety of different structures, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p>  \t\u96be\u602a as &quot;it is not surprising that&quot;<br \/>  \tHere \u96be\u602a is used to convey the speaker&#39;s lack of amazement at a situation, having recently acquired some new information that in his opinion explains it. It is used in much the same way as \u602a\u4e0d\u5f97, which can replace \u96be\u602a in the structure without altering its meaning.<\/p>\n<p>  \t<strong>Structure 1<\/strong>  \t<\/p>\n<p>  \t<strong>Examples <\/strong>  \t<\/p>\n<div>Xi\u01ceo zh\u0101n\u0261 q\u01d0n\u0261 ji&agrave; le , n&aacute;n \u0261u&agrave;i j\u012bn ti\u0101n m&eacute;i y\u01d2u k&agrave;n d&agrave;o t\u0101.<br \/>  \t\u5c0f\u5f20 \u8bf7\u5047 \u4e86\uff0c\u96be\u602a \u4eca\u5929 \u6ca1\u6709 \u770b\u5230 \u4ed6\u3002<\/div>\n<div>Little Zhang asked for some vacation time, no wonder I haven&#39;t seen him today.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>  \t<strong>Structure 2&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/>  \t  \t<strong>Examples <\/strong>  \t<\/p>\n<div>N&aacute;n\u0261u&agrave;i zh&egrave; l\u01d0 r&eacute;n zh&egrave; me du\u014d, yu&aacute;n l&aacute;i z&agrave;i d\u01ce zh&eacute;.<br \/>  \t\u96be\u602a \u8fd9\u91cc \u4eba \u8fd9\u4e48 \u591a\uff0c\u539f\u6765 \u5728 \u6253\u6298\u3002<\/div>\n<div>No wonder there are so many people here. He&#39;s just a kid. He doesn&#39;t know better. <\/div>\n<p>  \tWhen used in this way it expresses that the speaker assigns no blame in the situation he is describing. Sometimes the specific person undeserving of blame is mentioned directly after \u96be\u602a, as in the first two examples.
