The 15th day is the first night to see a full moon in a new year and every house is decorated with lanterns and streamers. As night falls, people go in crowds to admire the colorful and impressive lanterns in streets. The celebration leaves deep impressions on anyone who joins it.<\/div>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><div>\u5143\u5bb5\u8282\u7684\u5f62\u6210\uff0c\u53ef\u80fd\u8981\u8ffd\u6eaf\u5230\u53e4\u4eba\u5bf9\u706b\u7684\u5d07\u62dc\u3002\u53e4\u4ee3\u50a9\u796d\uff0c\u8981\u70b9\u71c3\u706b\u628a\uff0c\u7528\u6765\u9010\u75ab\u9a71\u9b3c\uff0c\u4e0d\u8fc7\u5728\u65f6\u95f4\u4e0a\u8fd8\u5e76\u4e0d\u662f\u5b9a\u5728\u6b63\u6708\u5341\u4e94\u3002<\/div>\n<div>The lantern Festival may originate from the fire worship by the ancient people. According to the belief of the ancient people, when they sffered sacrifices to their ancestors, fire was lit to alleviate illness and ward off evil spirits. But the day of sacrifices was not exactly on the 15th day of the first lunar month.<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.8em;\">&nbsp;<\/span>  \t<\/p>\n<div>\u4e1c\u6c49\u660e\u5e1d\u66fe\u7ecf\u4e0b\u4ee4\uff0c\u5143\u5bb5\u8282\u4e0d\u8bba\u58eb\u65cf\u5eb6\u6c11\u4e00\u5f8b\u6302\u706f\uff0c\u5f00\u521b\u4e86\u5148\u4f8b\u3002\u5230\u4e86\u968b\u7080\u5e1d\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u5219\u5df2\u5f62\u6210\u5b9a\u5f8b\uff0c\u6bcf\u5e74\u6b63\u6708\u5341\u4e94\u591c\u665a\uff0c\u4eac\u57ce\u91cc\u603b\u8981&ldquo;\u5927\u5217\u70ac\u706b\uff0c\u5149\u70db\u7167\u5730\uff0c\u767e\u620f\u4e4b\u76db\uff0c\u632f\u53e4\u65e0\u6bd4&rdquo;\uff0c\u51e0\u4e07\u4eba\u8d70\u4e0a\u8857\u5934\u72c2\u6b22\uff0c\u8bf4\u5143\u5bb5\u8282\u8fd9\u65f6\u5019\u5df2\u851a\u7136\u6210\u98ce\uff0c\u5927\u6982\u662f\u6bd4\u8f83\u7a33\u59a5\u7684\u3002\u6b64\u540e\uff0c\u5386\u4ee3\u5e1d\u738b\u53c8\u6709\u610f\u5021\u5bfc\uff0c\u4e0a\u884c\u4e0b\u6548\uff0c\u6108\u6f14\u6108\u70c8\u3002<\/div>\n<div>It was Emperor Ming of the Eastern Han Dynasty(25AD&#8212;220AD) who first ordered his people, whether rich or poor, to display lighted lanterns during the Lantern Festival. This was Formalized by Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty (581AD&#8212;618AD). As can be seen from the historical records about the nights of the Lantern Festival every year in the capital city&#8212;the magnificent lanterns displayed lit up the night sky and the great scene of performances were unparalleled&#8212;the Lantern Festival had developed into a great trend by that time. It was then promoted and enforced by later emperors and became increasingly popular.<\/div>\n<p>  \t<\/p>\n<div>\u5510\u4ee3\u5b9e\u884c\u5bb5\u7981\uff0c\u591c\u665a\u4e0d\u51c6\u51fa\u884c\uff0c\u552f\u72ec\u5728\u5143\u5bb5\u8282\uff0c\u7687\u5e1d\u7279\u8bb8\u5f00\u7981\u4e09\u5929\uff0c\u79f0\u4e3a&ldquo;\u653e\u591c&rdquo;\u3002\u5b8b\u4ee3\uff0c\u53c8\u5ef6\u957f\u5230\u4e94\u591c\u3002\u660e\u4ee3\u6108\u53d1\u5f00\u653e\uff0c\u89c4\u5b9a\u6b63\u6708\u521d\u516b\u4e0a\u706f\uff0c\u5341\u4e03\u843d\u706f\uff0c\u524d\u540e\u72c2\u6b22\u5341\u591c\u3002<\/div>\n<div>In the Tang Dynasty(618AD&#8212;907AD)\uff0cdue to the curfew, people could only go out at night during the three-day Lantern Festival. In the Song Dynasty(960AD&#8212;1279AD), the festival celebration lasted for five days. However, the grandest celebration took place in the Ming Dynasty(1368AD&#8212;1644AD), during which the festivities lasted for ten days from the eighth day to the seventeenth day of the first lunar month.<\/div>\n<p>  \t<span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.8em;\"><\/p>\n<div>\u300a\u798f\u5efa\u901a\u5fd7\u300b\u91cc\u8bb0\u8f7d\u4e86\u4e00\u6bb5\u8f76\u95fb\uff0c\u8bf4\u662f\u8521\u541b\u8c1f\u4efb\u798f\u5dde\u592a\u5b88\u65f6\uff0c\u4e0b\u4ee4\u6c11\u95f4\u6bcf\u5bb6\u70b9\u706f\u4e03\u76cf\uff0c\u7b49\u4e8e\u662f\u4e00\u79cd&ldquo;\u786c\u6027\u644a\u6d3e&rdquo;\u3002\u6709\u4eba\u6545\u610f\u505a\u4e86\u76cf\u5927\u706f\uff0c\u4e0a\u9762\u9898\u5199\u4e00\u9996\u8bd7\uff1a&ldquo;\u5bcc\u5bb6\u4e00\u76cf\u706f\uff0c\u592a\u4ed3\u4e00\u7c92\u7c9f\uff1b\u8d2b\u5bb6\u4e00\u76cf\u706f\uff0c\u7236\u5b50\u76f8\u5bf9\u54ed\u3002\u98ce\u6d41\u592a\u5b88\u77e5\u4e0d\u77e5\uff0c\u72b9\u6068\u7b19\u6b4c\u65e0\u5999\u66f2\uff01&rdquo;\u8521\u541b\u8c1f\u770b\u5230\u4e86\uff0c\u5f53\u5373&ldquo;\u8fd8\u8206\u7f62\u706f&rdquo;\u3002<\/div>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.8em;\"><\/p>\n<div>A story in Fujian Annals says that once Cai Junmo, Prefect of Fuzhou, ordered every household to light seven lanterns on the lantern Festival, which was beyond the means of common people. So someone deliberately made a big lantern, with a sarcastic poem written on it: A lantern for a rich family is like a drop in the ocean. A lantern for a poor family makes the father and the son cry to each other; Does the merry Prefect know about this? He is still complaining that the music is not good enough.<\/div>\n<p><\/span>  \t<\/p>\n<div>\u770b\u6765\u4ed6\u662f\u6709\u6240\u89e6\u52a8\uff0c\u8ba4\u4e3a\u522b\u4eba\u7684\u6279\u8bc4\u662f\u6709\u9053\u7406\u7684\u3002\u8fd9\u6bb5\u8f76\u95fb\u662f\u5426\u6709\u5938\u9970\uff0c\u5df2\u7ecf\u5f88\u96be\u8003\u8bc1\u4e86\uff0c\u4e0d\u8fc7\u4ece\u4e2d\u6298\u5c04\u5386\u53f2\uff0c\u8bf4\u660e\u98ce\u4fd7\u7684\u5f62\u6210\u5f80\u5f80\u4e0e&ldquo;\u4e0a\u884c\u4e0b\u6548&rdquo;\u6709\u67d0\u79cd\u5173\u7cfb\uff0c\u5012\u662f\u5f88\u503c\u5f97\u6211\u4eec\u91cd\u89c6\u3002\u5143\u5bb5\u8282\u5148\u662f\u5728\u4eac\u57ce\u91cc\u915d\u917f\u6210\u719f\uff0c\u540e\u6765\u6269\u5e03\u5230\u5404\u5730\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u4e0d\u65ad\u8513\u5ef6\uff0c\u76f4\u5230\u7a77\u4e61\u50fb\u58e4\uff0c\u4eba\u4eec\u4e5f\u603b\u662f\u4f1a\u5f20\u7f57\u7740\u8fc7\u8fd9\u4e2a\u8282\uff0c\u8fd9\u6837\u4e00\u79cd\u6d41\u64ad\u7684\u8f68\u8ff9\uff0c\u663e\u800c\u6613\u89c1\u3002<\/div>\n<div>It seemed that Cai Junmo was touched by the poem and withdrew the order. Though it is difficult to prove what really happened at that time, this significantly mirrors the fact that customs were formed when people followed the examples of their superiors. The activities of the Lantern Festival started from the capital city, and then spread to many of the big cities and later to poor little villages.
