One of the ways to express distance is to use "\u79bb"(lí).<\/p>\n

Structure:
Place1 + \u79bb + Place2 + Adverb + \u8fd1\/\u8fdc
<\/strong><\/p>\n

So this pattern is normally used to simply express that one place is (not) close or (not) far from another place.<\/p>\n

Examples:

M\u011bi\u0261uó lí zh\u014dn\u0261\u0261uó h\u011bn yu\u01cen.
\u7f8e\u56fd \u79bb \u4e2d\u56fd \u5f88 \u8fdc\u3002<\/div>\n

N\u01d0 lí w\u01d2 yu\u01cen di\u01cen.
\u4f60 \u79bb \u6211 \u8fdc \u70b9\u3002<\/div>\n
Distance yourself from me further.<\/div>\n

Note that the final example is a command, and a commo<\/em>nly heard line. The sentence means "distance yourself from me further," in other words, "stay away from me" or "don’t come near me."<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
