The tree, reputed to have been planted(\u79cd\u690d) by Tang Dynasty(\u5510\u671d) Emperor(\u7687\u5e1d) Li Shimin, is located in the Zen Buddhist Temple(\u89c2\u97f3\u7985\u5bfa), built during his reign(\u7edf\u6cbb) which lasted(\u6301\u7eed) between 629 and 649 C.E.<\/p>\n

A series of photos taken of the tree after a rainfall(\u96e8\u540e) in 2016 saw the temple attract an estimated(\u4f30\u8ba1) 70,000 visitors in one day.<\/p>\n
