Give up halfway<\/p>\n

During the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220AD), there was a man called Yue Yangzi. Encouraged by his wife, he left home to visit scholars and enrich his knowledge.<\/p>\n

A year later, he came back home suddenly.<\/p>\n

"Why have you returned?" asked his wife in surprise, "You’ve o<\/em>nly spent one year studying with scholars."<\/p>\n

"I come back because I missed you very much," Yue Yangzi replied.<\/p>\n

Without saying anything, his wife took a pair of scissors and went to the loom at which she had worked. Pointing at the half-done brocade, she proclaimed, "This brocade is woven from the finest silk. I wove one strand after another to produce the brocade. Now if I cut it, all my previous work will be wasted. It’s the same with your studies. Now, you’ve stopped halfway. Isn’t it the same as cutting the brocade on the loom?"<\/p>\n

Deeply moved by what she said, Yue Yangzi again left home to co<\/em>ntinue his studies.<\/p>\n

Several years later, he finished his studies and became a learned man.<\/p>\n

       \u4e50\u7f8a\u5b50\u8bf4\uff1a“\u6211\u592a\u60f3\u4f60\u4e86\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u56de\u6765\u770b\u770b\u3002”<\/p>\n

       \u4ed6\u7684\u59bb\u5b50\u542c\u4e86\u4e4b\u540e\uff0c\u4e8c\u8bdd\u4e0d\u8bf4\uff0c\u62ff\u8d77\u628a\u526a\u5200\u8d70\u5230\u5979\u7684\u7ec7\u5e03\u673a\u524d\uff0c\u6307\u7740\u90a3\u5757\u5df2\u7ecf\u5b8c\u6210\u4e86\u4e00\u534a\u7684\u9526\u7f0e\u8bf4\uff1a“\u8fd9\u5757\u9526\u7f0e\u7528\u7684\u662f\u6700\u597d\u7684\u4e1d\uff0c\u6211\u4e00\u4e1d\u4e1d\u7684\u7d2f\u79ef\u6765\u7ec7\u6210\u8fd9\u9526\u7f0e\u3002\u5982\u679c\u6211\u73b0\u5728\u628a\u5b83\u526a\u65ad\uff0c\u5c31\u7b49\u4e8e\u524d\u529f\u5c3d\u5f03\u3002\u4f60\u6c42\u5b66\u4e5f\u662f\u8fd9\u6837\uff0c\u5982\u679c\u73b0\u5728\u505c\u6b62\uff0c\u548c\u526a\u65ad\u7ec7\u5e03\u673a\u4e0a\u7684\u9526\u7f0e\u6709\u4ec0\u4e48\u533a\u522b\uff1f”<\/p>\n
