  “The same song” is written by Chen Zhe and composed by Meng Weidong in 1990. It was first sung by Liu Chang,  followed by several singers, such as Cai Guoqing, Mao Amin and so on. Since then, China Central Television launched "the same song" column, which has become one of its famous variety shows.

The song’s prototype was created in the late 1930s by an unknown young musician in fallen Shanghai. At that time, the country and its people suffered a lot, many gave up their dreams and hope. In order to encourage  himself and the people around him, arouse their hope for the future, the author wrote this song. But it was not spread widely due to the situation at that time. As time went by, the work was backlogged  in amounts of music data in the co<\/em>nservatory of music, it was not until the late 1980s that it was discovered by Chen Zhe, and he recreated it, thus making it become an outstanding and popular work.
\u8fd9\u9996\u6b4c\u66f2\u5e0c\u671b\u4f20\u9012\u7ed9\u5927\u5bb6\u4e00\u79cd\u5feb\u4e50\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\u6001\u5ea6\u3002\u6574\u9996\u6b4c\u7684\u8282\u594f\u5341\u5206\u6b22\u4e50\uff0c\u5145\u6ee1\u4e86\u6fc0\u60c5\u548c\u5e0c\u671b\uff0c\u80fd\u591f\u5e26\u52a8\u8d77\u4eba\u4eec\u7684\u5fc3\u3002\u6b63\u5982\u6b4c\u8bcd\u5199\u7684\u90a3\u6837\uff0c“\u540c\u6837\u7684\u611f\u53d7\u7ed9\u4e86\u6211\u4eec\u540c\u6837\u7684\u6e34\u671b\uff0c\u540c\u6837\u7684\u6b22\u4e50\u7ed9\u4e86\u6211\u4eec\u540c\u4e00\u9996\u6b4c”\u3002
This song expresses a happy attitude towards life. With cheerful rhythm, full of passion and hope, it drives up the hearts of the audiences. As the lyrics say, "the same feeling gives us the same desire, the same joy gives us the same song".
