Hereafter, there were also texts a<em><\/em>bout it in Five-character Poems: Ganoderma Lucidum by Cao Zhi in the Three Kingdoms and The Story of Immortals Searching by Gan Bao in East Jin Dynasty. The narration of Gan Bao has been spreading widely in the rural areas of China thanks to its highlight of theme (filialness) and complete plots (Riding the Father in a Deer Cart, Selling o<em><\/em>neself to Fund the Funeral of His Dead Father, Heavenly Lady Making Proposal to Help Pay off Debts). It has become the source to make adaptation or implantation over 2,000 years, exerting a great influence on the future generations. As the story of Dong Yong and Seventh Immortal Girl is a folktale of edifying effects and romantic elements, the edifying co<em><\/em>ntent finds acknowledgement in the general public of China co<em><\/em>ncerning long peace and social stability while the romantic scenarios fit in with the mentality of pursuing marital happiness at the grassroots level. Hence the popularity of its wo<em><\/em>nderful integration of magic imagination with harsh realities on the earth among the populace. During the course of circulation, the legend varied as the place, time and people and showed a sign of changing into a love story, but without big changes to the theme or main body. Over the hundred years of 20th century, the story of Dong Yong has been the theme that the popular folk literature (narration-chant and traditio<em><\/em>nal opera) and the late-emerging film literature. In particular, the film Married with Heavenly Immortal Girl, a presentation of Huangmei Opera, has become a masterwork of a far-reaching impact.<br \/>  \u8463\u6c38\u4f20\u8bf4\u5728\u4e24\u5343\u591a\u5e74\u7684\u6f2b\u957f\u6d41\u4f20\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\uff0c\u4e0d\u65ad\u4e0e\u5404\u5730\u7684\u6c11\u4f17\u751f\u6d3b\u76f8\u7ed3\u5408\u3002\u7531\u4e8e\u6c11\u4f17\u60c5\u611f\u7684\u6e17\u900f\u548c\u53e3\u7891\u7684\u9644\u4f1a\uff0c\u4ea7\u751f\u4e86\u5bcc\u6709\u5730\u65b9\u7279\u8272\u7684\u4f20\u8bf4\uff0c\u7559\u4e0b\u76f8\u6cbf\u800c\u6210\u7684\u98ce\u4fd7\u53ca\u4e0e\u8463\u6c38\u8eab\u4e16\u6709\u5173\u7684\u6587\u7269\u3001\u7891\u78a3\u3001\u6751\u843d\u3001\u5730\u540d\u7b49\u9057\u8ff9\u3002\u5c71\u897f\u7701\u4e07\u8363\u53bf\u3001\u6c5f\u82cf\u7701\u4e1c\u53f0\u5e02\u3001\u6cb3\u5357\u7701\u6b66\u965f\u53bf\u3001\u6e56\u5317\u7701\u5b5d\u611f\u5e02\u7b49\u5730\u4e0d\u4ec5\u6709\u4e0e\u8463\u6c38\u76f8\u5173\u7684\u9057\u8ff9\uff0c\u800c\u4e14\u5730\u65b9\u5fd7\u4e2d\u4e5f\u591a\u6709\u8bb0\u8f7d\uff0c\u90fd\u79f0\u8463\u6c38\u662f\u5f53\u5730\u4eba\uff0c\u5982\u5c71\u4e1c\u535a\u5174\u6709\u8463\u5bb6\u5e84\u3001\u8463\u6c38\u5893\uff1b\u5c71\u897f\u4e07\u8363\u5c0f\u6dee\u6751\u6709&ldquo;\u8463\u6c38\u6545\u91cc&rdquo;\u7684\u533e\u989d\uff0c\u6c11\u95f4\u8fd8\u7ec7\u9020&ldquo;\u5408\u5a5a\u5e03&rdquo;\uff1b\u6cb3\u5357\u7701\u6b66\u965f\u53bf\u6bcf\u5e74\u519c\u5386\u4e8c\u6708\u521d\u4e09\u548c\u5341\u4e00\u6708\u521d\u5341\u5747\u4e3e\u884c\u76db\u5927\u7684\u796d\u62dc\u5b5d\u5b50\u7684\u5e99\u4f1a\u6d3b\u52a8\uff1b\u6c5f\u82cf\u7701\u4e1c\u53f0\u5e02\u6709\u8463\u5bb6\u820d\uff0c\u5357\u5b8b\u300a\u65b9\u8206\u80dc\u89c8\u300b\u5373\u8bb0\u8f7d\u8fd9\u91cc\u4e3a&ldquo;\u5b5d\u5b50\u8463\u6c38\u6545\u5c45&rdquo;\u7b49\u3002\u591a\u5730\u6d41\u4f20\u3001\u4e0d\u65ad\u9644\u4f1a\u7684&ldquo;\u6eda\u96ea\u7403&rdquo;\u73b0\u8c61\u662f\u4f20\u8bf4\u6545\u4e8b\u5e38\u6709\u7684\u7279\u70b9\u3002\u8463\u6c38\u4f20\u8bf4\u8574\u542b\u7684\u5386\u53f2\u3001\u6587\u5b66\u8d44\u6599\u5bf9\u7814\u7a76\u6211\u56fd\u5404\u4e2a\u5386\u53f2\u65f6\u671f\u793e\u4f1a\u3001\u7ecf\u6d4e\u3001\u653f\u6cbb\u3001\u6587\u5316\uff0c\u7279\u522b\u662f\u6587\u5b66\u827a\u672f\u7b49\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u90fd\u6709\u4e00\u5b9a\u7684\u4ef7\u503c\u3002\u8463\u6c38\u4f20\u8bf4\u7684\u6559\u5316\u529f\u80fd\u5bf9\u5f53\u4eca\u5efa\u8bbe\u793e\u4f1a\u4e3b\u4e49\u7cbe\u795e\u6587\u660e\u548c\u6784\u5efa\u548c\u8c10\u793e\u4f1a\u7684\u5b9e\u8df5\u5177\u6709\u4e00\u5b9a\u7684\u73b0\u5b9e\u610f\u4e49\u3002<br \/>  In the process of circulation over more than 2,000 years, the Legend of Dong Yong had been co<em><\/em>nstantly localized, taking in various aboriginal elements. Due to penetration of the listeners&rsquo; sensation and follow-up of popularity, episodes of local color came into being, leaving us inherited custom and remains relating to background of Dong Yong such as cultural relics, tombstones, villages, and names of places. Not o<em><\/em>nly have remains pertaining to Dong Yong been found in Wanrong County, Shanxi Province, Do<em><\/em>ngtai City, Jiangsu Province, Wuzhi County, Henan Province, and Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, but there are also records in local histories claiming Dong Yong to be a local: for example, there is a Dong Village and a tomb of Dong Yong in Boxing, Shandong Province. In Xiaohuai Village, Wanrong County, Shanxi Province, there is an inscribed board &ldquo;The Domicile of Dong Yong&rdquo; and the folks also weave a kind of &ldquo;intermarriage cloth&rdquo;. In Wuzhi County, Henan Province, grand temple fair activities offering sacrifice to filial sons are held on Feb. 2nd and Nov. 10th each year according to the lunar calendar. In Do<em><\/em>ngtai City, Jiangsu Province, there is one Dong Cottage, which, according to the recordings in A Complete Guide to Geography of South Song Dynasty. The snowballing phenomenon of wide circulation and co<em><\/em>nstant appending is something common to the development of legends. The historical and literary information co<em><\/em>ntained in the Legend of Dong Yong is of great value in studies co<em><\/em>ncerning society, economy, politics and culture, literature and art in particular.
