For this hiking adventure, people did very good preparation work. It was the best prepared adventure among the whole eight years of Yu’s exploration.<\/p>\n

June 10, 1996. The TV crews drove into Lop Nur. They buried water and food along the route together with Yu Chun Shun. All of them drove along the planned route o<\/em>nce and returned to the camp.<\/p>\n

The next morning, the crews dropped Yu Chun Shun to the starting point. The crews asked Yu whether he wanted to bring GPS with him, he refused. He said that he used paper map to hike through China before, this time it should be good enough too. With his bag on his back, Yu said goodbye to the crews and walked into Lop Nur alone.<\/p>\n

Looking at his back, people felt like they were looking at the leaving Peng Jia Mu 26 years ago. But this time, they were very well prepared. They were not short of water, gas, or food. They had GPS, and all kinds of advanced equipments. There also had blessings and attentions from all around China. The adventure was sure to be a success.<\/p>\n

Three o’clock in the afternoon, the TV crews drove out of their camp again. They drove towards the direction wher Yu’s went. When they passed by the first spot of buried water, they found that both water and food were still there, Yu Chun Shun didn’t take his break there.<\/p>\n
