The voice sounded like the landlord. However, Zhuang Liqun wished he could have left sooner. He already paid up to four mo<\/em>nths of rent. There’s no need to deal with the landlord again.<\/p>\n

There was a moment of silence on both side of the door. He suddenly had a premo<\/em>nition that things would go wrong.<\/p>\n

The door was forced open following a deafening bang. Before Zhuang Liqun could get a glimpse at the intruder he had been pressed down to the ground and couldn’t move at all.<\/p>\n

“Be careful of the gun!”<\/p>\n

What followed the voice was a powerful twist of his wrist that forced him lose the grip of the gun. It was then snapped off his hand.<\/p>\n

He struggled to turn his neck and o<\/em>nly found out the two men that were holding him down were fully armed police.<\/p>\n

“I’m toasted.” His heart sank.
