He was the famous strategist, natio<em><\/em>nal hero and famous general against invaders from the Jurchen-ruled Jin Dynasty. As a result of his outstanding capability in military matters, Yue Fei was known as the most outstanding military general during the periods of Song, Liao, Jin and Western Xia, as well as being the creator of the Heshuo Scheme. At the same time, he was the youngest man to carry the title of Hou (marquis) ever, since the southern and northern Song Dynasty.
