Instruction :  “天无绝人之路”是说老天不会断绝人的出路，把人困死。比喻一个人虽一时处于绝境，但终归可以找到出路。 “天无绝人之路” means that there is always a way out. It is a metaphor that a person maybe in a hopeless situation temporarily, but he will always find a way to escape.

  在中国古代，“死党”是为了某人或组织竭尽全力甚至付出生命的人。到如今，“死党”的意思是跟你关系很好，可以无话不谈，无所顾忌、相互依靠、亲密无间的朋友。In ancient China，“ sǐdǎng” was a person who would spare no effort and even sacrifice his life for another person or group. Today, “ sǐdǎng” means your close friends, ones from whom you keep no secrets and towards whom you have no misgivings. These are friends who can rely on each other.

  In winter, on the streets and alleyways of old Beijing, vendors call out, “Candied haws, candied haws…” The Spring Festival is the best time for selling candied haws. From the first to the fifteenth of the first lunar month, people crowd in the temple fairs in Changdian, on the Glass Street outside Hepingmen, where candied haws can be seen everywhere.
