别担心 (bié dānxīn) don’t worry Usage: “别担心”是在对方很着急、担心的情况下安慰对方，让对方放心，一般用在句首。“别担心” is usually used to comfort others when they are worried; it puts them at ease. It is often used at the beginning of a sentence.

帮帮忙吧！(Bāng bāng máng ba!)Please help me! Usage: “帮帮忙吧！”一般用来请求别人的帮助或者建议，含有“祈求”、“迫切地请求”的意思。“帮帮忙吧!” is generally used to ask for help or advice from others, and it contains meanings of praying for or asking urgently for something.

海选 (hǎi xuǎn) open audition Usage: “海选”在众多的候选人中选拔。指不设门槛，人人都有机会参加的选拔。正因为如此，参加的人数相当多，因此参加者想要被选中就非常难。“海选” refers to an audition or other selection process without entry requirements, meaning that everyone has an opportunity to participate. For this reason, the number of participants is quite large, and it is hard for the participants to be selected.

哪儿呀(nǎr ya) Please, no Usage: “哪儿呀”意思是“不”，一般是对他人赞扬的一种谦虚的回应，意思是我没那么优秀。一般用在句首。有时候也表示对他人判断的否定。“哪儿呀” is a modest way of answering for others’ praise, suggesting that the speaker is not that excellent. It is usually used at the beginning of a sentence. Sometimes it’s used to deny others’ opinion.

卖萌 (mài méng) acting cute; playing cute Usage: “萌”的意思是可爱，“卖萌”就是刻意做出一些可爱的动作、言语等，是个中性词。“萌” means cute, and “卖萌” is to be deliberately cutesy in action or speech. It carries a neutral connotation.

高富帅 (gāo fù shuài) Tall, rich and handsome Usage: “高富帅”是最近新出来的一个网络词汇，形容男人身材高、有财富、相貌长得好，完美无缺。这样的男人往往会博得众多女性的青睐，在恋爱、婚姻中获得成功。 “高富帅” is a new word that has recently appeared on the internet. It describes a man who is tall, wealthy, and good looking. Such a man often wins the favor of many women and is successful in love and marriage.

Usage: “糊涂虫”是指不明事理、做事糊涂的人，是一个贬义词。“糊涂虫”refers to a person who is lack of common sense and doing something confused. It is a derogatory term.

城府 (chéng fǔ) shrewdness  Usage: “城府”本义是指城中的官府，普通人一般是无法进入的。比喻让人难以想到的深远用心或者不容易了解的想法。The original meaning of “城府” is the government office in the city which ordinary people are not easy to go into. It is the metaphor of shrewdness or ideas hard to be understood.
