打交道 (dǎ jiāodao) to come into contact with
Usage: “打交道”的意思是“与……交往/往来”，彼此有联系，可以用来表示与人的相处或者个人、组织、国家等进行交流或发生联系。它还表示与物发生联系，指从事某一种职业。“打交道” means to come into contact with persons, organizations or countries. It also means to have relations with something or engage in one occupation.
