Yajie: Last time we learned some ex<\/em>pressions when shopping. \u5143(yuan), \u89d2(jiao), \u5206(fen).
Cam: \u5143(yuan), \u89d2(jiao), \u5206(fen). I also remember \u5757 (kuai) and \u6bdb (mao), like\u516d\u5757(liu kuai) and \u4e00\u6bdb(yi mao)..
Yajie: Right. \u516d\u5757(liu kuai) is six yuan \uff0cand\u4e00\u6bdb(yi mao) is 0.1 yuan.
Cam: OK. Then if I want to buy something, I can ask the seller in Chinese “\u8fd9\u4e2a\u591a\u5c11\u94b1\uff1f” (zhège du\u014dshao qián?) How much is it? Right?
Yajie: Exactly. \u8fd9\u4e2a\u591a\u5c11\u94b1\uff1fHow much is it? If you are not satisfied with the price, In China, you can begin bargaining, and that is what we are going to learn today.

Yajie: When you visit a market in China, you may hear the salesperson asking you “\u60a8\u597d\uff0c\u60a8\u60f3\u4e70\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f”Hello! Can I help you?
Cam: “\u60a8\u597d\uff0c\u60a8\u60f3\u4e70\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f” (nín h\u01ceo, nín xi\u01ceng m\u01cei shénme?)
Yajie: \u60f3 means “want to”. \u60f3, x-i-a-n-g, the third tone. \u60f3(xi\u01ceng).
Cam: \u60f3(xi\u01ceng).
Yajie: \u4e70means buy. \u4e70, m-a-i, also the third tone. \u4e70(m\u01cei).
Cam: \u4e70(m\u01cei).
Yajie: \u4ec0\u4e48 (shenme) means what.
Cam: \u4ec0\u4e48 (shenme).
Yajie: “\u60a8\u60f3\u4e70\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f” (nín xi\u01ceng m\u01cei shénme?) What do you want to buy? What would you like to buy?
Cam: “\u60a8\u60f3\u4e70\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f” (nín xi\u01ceng m\u01cei shénme?)<\/p>\n

Cam: \u592a\u8d35\u4e86(tai gui le). Tai means “too” t-o-o and gui le means expensive.  Tai gui le.  Too expensive.
Yajie: \u80fd\u4e0d\u80fd? (néng bu néng) \u80fdmeans could,  \u80fd\u4e0d\u80fdmeans “Could it be”?
Cam: \u80fd\u4e0d\u80fd? (néng bu néng)
Yajie: \u4fbf\u5b9c means cheap. \u4fbf\u5b9c(pianyi).
Cam: \u4fbf\u5b9c(pianyi).
Yajie: \u70b9\u513fis short for \u4e00\u70b9\u513f, meaning a little bit.
Cam: \u4e00\u70b9\u513f(yi dianr).
Yajie: \u4fbf\u5b9c\u70b9\u513f.
Cam: \u4fbf\u5b9c\u70b9\u513f (pianyi dianr).
Yajie: \u80fd\u4e0d\u80fd\u4fbf\u5b9c\u70b9\u513f? (néng bu néng pianyi dianr)
Cam: \u80fd\u4e0d\u80fd\u4fbf\u5b9c\u70b9\u513f? (néng bu néng pianyi dianr)
