The 16-day event attracts more than 5,000 athletes, referees, officials, and 1,500 journalists from 180 countries in the world.<\/p>\n<p>  \u56fd\u9645\u6cf3\u8054\u4e16\u754c\u9526\u6807\u8d5b\u5f00\u59cb\u4e8e1973\u5e74\uff0c\u6bcf\u4e24\u5e74\u4e3e\u529e\u4e00\u6b21\u3002\u5b83\u5171\u5305\u62ec\u4e94\u5927\u9879\u76ee\uff0c\u5373\u6e38\u6cf3\u3001\u8df3\u6c34\u3001\u82b1\u6837\u6e38\u6cf3\u3001\u6c34\u7403\u548c\u516c\u5f00\u6c34\u57df\u6e38\u6cf3\u3002\u56fd\u9645\u6cf3\u8054\u6210\u5458\u56fd\u76ee\u524d\u5df2\u7ecf\u8fbe\u5230180\u4e2a\uff0c\u6570\u91cf\u4ec5\u6b21\u4e8e\u56fd\u9645\u8db3\u7403\u534f\u4f1a\u8054\u5408\u4f1a\uff08\u56fd\u9645\u8db3\u8054\uff09\u3002<br \/>  The FINA World Champio<em><\/em>nships started in 1973 and is held every two years. It includes five major events of swimming, diving, synchro<em><\/em>nized swimming, water polo, and open water swimming. Currently, the number of FINA members has reached 180, second to that of the Federation of Internatio<em><\/em>nal Football Associations (FIFA).<\/p>\n<p>  \u4e0a\u6d77\u4e8e2007\u5e743\u670824\u65e5\u8d62\u5f97\u4e86\u7b2c14\u5c4a\u56fd\u9645\u6cf3\u8054\u4e16\u754c\u9526\u6807\u8d5b\u7533\u529e\u6743\uff0c\u8fd9\u662f\u56fd\u9645\u6cf3\u8054\u4e16\u754c\u9526\u6807\u8d5b\u9996\u5ea6\u843d\u6237\u4e2d\u56fd\uff0c\u662f\u7ee72001\u5e74\u65e5\u672c\u798f\u5188\u4e4b\u540e\uff0c\u5728\u4e9a\u6d32\u7b2c\u4e8c\u6b21\u4e3e\u529e\u8fd9\u4e00\u5927\u8d5b\u3002<br \/>  Shanghai won the bid to host the 14th FINA World Champio<em><\/em>nships on March 24, 2007. This is the first time that the FINA World Champio<em><\/em>nships is held in China and the second time in an Asian country, following Fukuoka of Japan who hosted the competition in 2001.<\/p>\n<p>  \u7b2c14\u5c4a\u56fd\u9645\u6cf3\u8054\u4e16\u754c\u9526\u6807\u8d5b\u4e5f\u662f\u4e0a\u6d77\u8fc4\u4eca\u627f\u529e\u7684\u89c4\u6a21\u6700\u5927\u3001\u89c4\u683c\u6700\u9ad8\u3001\u53c2\u8d5b\u4eba\u6570\u6700\u591a\u7684\u4e16\u754c\u5355\u9879\u4f53\u80b2\u5927\u8d5b\u3002\u6bd4\u8d5b\u4e3b\u4f1a\u573a\u4e8e4\u670817\u65e5\u901a\u8fc7\u5efa\u7b51\u9a8c\u6536\u3002\u4e1c\u65b9\u4f53\u80b2\u4e2d\u5fc3\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u7efc\u5408\u6027\u4f53\u80b2\u573a\uff0c\u5305\u62ec\u4e00\u5ea7\u4e3b\u4f1a\u9986\u3001\u6e38\u6cf3\u6c60\u3001\u5ba4\u5916\u8df3\u6c34\u6c60\u548c\u4e00\u4e2a\u5a92\u4f53\u4e2d\u5fc3\u3002<br \/>  The 14th FINA World Champio<em><\/em>nship is the largest sport event ever undertaken by Shanghai in terms of the scale and the number of participants. The main stadium for the competition passed post-co<em><\/em>nstruction tests on April 17.
