According to statistics, fancy lantern was originated from the Western Han Dynasty (x\u012b h&agrave;n \u897f\u6c49) over 1800 years ago. When Lantern Festival (yu&aacute;n xi\u0101o ji&eacute; \u5143\u5bb5\u8282) comes, people will hang red lanterns so as to create a cheerful atmosphere. Afterward lantern became the symbol of joy in China. With its development, the lantern has formed abundant varieties and super craftwork level.<\/p>\n<p>  Palace LanternChinese lantern always co<em><\/em>nsist of a f<em><\/em>rame made of me<em><\/em>tal wire or bamboo strips covered with paper or thin gauze and then painted over to be attractive. There are many types of fancy Lanterns, for example, palace lanterns (g\u014dng d\u0113ng \u5bab\u706f), gauze lanterns (sh\u0101 d\u0113ng \u7eb1\u706f), swag lanterns (di&agrave;o d\u0113ng \u540a\u706f) etc.. As far as the modelings were concerned, they co<em><\/em>nsist of character, landscape, flowers, birds, dragon, phoenix, fish and worms and so on. Apart from these, it has the lanterns with revolving figures. Chinese fancy lantern is a composition of painting, paper-cut, Zhi Zha (zh&iacute; zh&aacute; \u7eb8\u624e), Ci Feng (c&igrave; f&eacute;ng \u523a\u7f1d) etc..<\/p>\n<p>  &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>  Ice LanternThe local fancy lanterns have their own characters. The Dragon lantern (l&oacute;ng d\u0113ng \u9f99\u706f) in Shanghai is made in cloth, the Zou Ma Deng (z&oacute;u m\u01ce d\u0113ng \u8d70\u9a6c\u706f) in Guangdong is very exquisite, the Palace lanterns in Beijing is very elegant and fine, and the Harbin Ice-lamp (b\u012bng d\u0113ng \u51b0\u706f) is Clean and clear, the mouth climbing grape lamp (l&aacute;o sh\u01d4 p\u0101n p&uacute; t&aacute;o d\u0113ng \u8001\u9f20\u6500\u8461\u8404\u706f), kylin lantern (q&iacute; l&iacute;ng d\u0113ng \u9e92\u9e9f\u706f), pigsy lantern (zh\u016b b\u0101 ji&egrave; d\u0113ng \u732a\u516b\u6212\u706f), duck lantern (y\u0101 z\u012b d\u0113ng \u9e2d\u5b50\u706f), goldfish lantern (j\u012bn y&uacute; d\u0113ng \u91d1\u9c7c\u706f) and mandarin duck lantern (yu\u0101n y\u0101ng d\u0113ng \u9e33\u9e2f\u706f) are with great humor and profound morals.<\/p>\n<p>  The fancy lantern is an art which represents the ingenuity of Chinese people. It combines the abstract formation, imitative sculpture, plane painting and calligraphy, complex decoration and light mechanism. It is an art with Chinese characteristics. Fancy lanterns are not o<em><\/em>nly decoration of festival, but also a kind of care in people&#8217;s life.<\/p>\n<p>  \u706f\u5f69Gauze Lantern<br \/>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u706f\u5f69\uff0c\u53c8\u53eb&ldquo;\u82b1\u706f&rdquo;\uff0c\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u4f20\u7edf\u7684\u4e2d\u56fd\u624b\u5de5\u827a\u54c1\uff0c\u591a\u4e8e\u4f20\u7edf\u8282\u65e5\u3001\u5a5a\u5bff\u5409\u5e86\u4e4b\u65f6\u60ac\u6302\uff0c\u4ee5\u70d8\u6258\u559c\u5e86\u6c14\u6c1b\u3002\u5b83\u4e0e\u6d41\u4f20\u6c11\u95f4\u7684\u5143\u5bb5\u8d4f\u706f\u4e60\u4fd7\u5bc6\u5207\u76f8\u8fde\u3002\u636e\u8003\u8bc1\uff0c\u706f\u5f69\u8d77\u6e90\u4e8e1800\u591a\u5e74\u524d\u7684\u897f\u6c49\u65f6\u671f\uff0c\u6bcf\u5e74\u7684\u519c\u5386\u6b63\u6708\u5341\u4e94\u5143\u5bb5\u8282\u524d\u540e\uff0c\u4eba\u4eec\u90fd\u6302\u8d77\u8c61\u5f81\u56e2\u5706\u610f\u4e49\u7684\u7ea2\u706f\u7b3c\uff0c\u6765\u8425\u9020\u4e00\u79cd\u559c\u5e86\u7684\u6c1b\u56f4\u3002\u540e\u6765\u706f\u7b3c\u5c31\u6210\u4e86\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba\u559c\u5e86\u7684\u8c61\u5f81\u3002\u7ecf\u8fc7\u5386\u4ee3\u706f\u5f69\u827a\u4eba\u7684\u7ee7\u627f\u548c\u53d1\u5c55\uff0c\u5f62\u6210\u4e86\u4e30\u5bcc\u591a\u5f69\u7684\u54c1\u79cd\u548c\u9ad8\u8d85\u7684\u5de5\u827a\u6c34\u5e73\u3002 <\/p>\n<p>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
