Russia added Chinese language courses(\u8bfe\u7a0b) to the teaching syllabus for intermediate compulsory education at grade five and above for the first time earlier this month, and plans to develop(\u53d1\u5c55) a unified natio<\/em>nal examination(\u5168\u56fd\u7edf\u4e00\u8003\u8bd5) of Mandarin Chinese.<\/p>\n

According to the preliminary plan, year eleven graduates with a basic level of Chinese should be to speak(\u8bf4) in both formal and informal situations, read(\u8bfb) different genres of text, write(\u5199) perso<\/em>nal letters and fill in forms(\u586b\u5199\u8868\u683c).
