S: Dà qíngti\u0101n, qíng, QING, qíng here means sunny. Ti\u0101n here means ‘weather’. And usually people put a ‘dà’ in front of the word when it is a VERY sunny day without a cloud in the sky.<\/p>\n

M: And shàitàiyáng. Tàiyáng, TAI YANG, tàiyáng, means the sun. And to ‘shài’ means to expose something to sunshine. So shàitàiyáng together mean to get some sun. Shàitàiyáng.<\/p>\n

S: But the weather report said, ti\u0101nqìyùbào shu\u014d, tomorrow it will snow! Míngti\u0101n yào xiàxu\u011b. Míngti\u0101n yào xiàxu\u011b.<\/p>\n
