As a kind of fermented tea, the producing process of yellow tea is similar to that of green tea. The difference is that yellow tea has an extra process of piling the tea for yellowing. This process is the main character of producing Yellow Tea and also the basic difference between yellow tea and green tea. &rdquo;Yellow tea leaves and yellow tea soup&rdquo; are the features of yellow tea.<br \/>  \u9ec4\u8336\u6709\u82bd\u8336\u4e0e\u53f6\u8336\u4e4b\u5206\uff0c\u5bf9\u65b0\u68a2\u82bd\u53f6\u6709\u4e0d\u540c\u8981\u6c42\uff1a\u9664\u9ec4\u5927\u8336\u8981\u6c42\u67091\u82bd4\u30015\u53f6\u65b0\u68a2\u5916\uff0c\u5176\u4f59\u7684\u9ec4\u8336\u90fd\u6709\u5bf9\u82bd\u53f6\u8981\u6c42&ldquo;\u7ec6\u5ae9\u3001\u65b0\u9c9c\u3001\u5300\u9f50\u3001\u7eaf\u51c0&rdquo;\u7684\u5171\u540c\u70b9\u3002\u6309\u9c9c\u53f6\u7684\u5ae9\u5ea6\u548c\u82bd\u53f6\u5927\u5c0f\uff0c\u5206\u4e3a\u9ec4\u82bd\u8336\u3001\u9ec4\u5c0f\u8336\u548c\u9ec4\u5927\u8336\u4e09\u7c7b\u3002<br \/>  Yellow tea is divided into young tea leaves and tea leaves. There are different requirements for new tea leaves, except for Yellow Big Tea (yellow tea with big leaves) which should have one sprout together with 4-5 new sprouts. The areas around Beigang Lake of Kangwangxiang, Yueyang City is the current producing place of Beigang Sprout Tea, which is usually picked 5-6 days after the Tomb Sweeping Festival. This kind of tea is usually picked before and after Grain Rain Festival.The standards for picking the teas are: first-grade tea is newly grown and the sprout has o<em><\/em>nly one leaf. Second-grade tea is one sprout with two leaves and third grade tea is one sprout with three leaves. The tea sprouts are tightly curled with its fine fuzz clearly seen. The tea is green, tastes pure and has a sweet after taste. The tea water is bright yellow and green. From Tang Dynasty to Ming and Qing Dynasties, Mengding Yellow Sprout Tea had been taken as a famous tribute. At present, there are still many tea houses that hang these couplets &ldquo;The water from Yangzi River ranks as the first among all waters, while the tea produced on top of Mengding Mountain is chosen to be the best among all teas&rdquo; which shows the far-reaching influence of Mengding Tea. Every year, from Spring Equinox, people begin to pick and produce Mengding Yellow Tea.
