Today let's take a brief introduction of a famous Chinese movie named "Dream of the Red Chamber".The Yue Opera film Dream of the Red Chamber(1962) was based on the main plot of classical Chinese novel Dream of the Red Chamber by Cao Xueqin. This film co-starred renowned Yue Opera performing artists Wang Wenjuan and Xu Yulan. Film artist Zhu Shilin acted as the art director, and Zhong Min and Wu Chen as stage directors. During the ten years between 1978 and 1988, the film adopted over 12 billion audience. It is also the film most screened, copied and watched in Chinese history.

Today let's take a brief introduction of a famous Chinese movie named "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan"Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, inspired by the namesake novel written by Chinese American writer Lisa See, tells the story of women in a remote area of Hunan Province in the 19th century creating their unique language of communication – Nvshu (literally, women’s script). In the film, Lily and Snow Flower, played by Li Bingbing and Gianna Jun respectively, are a laotong pair (or sworn sisters). They communicate with each other by writing Nvshu script, swearing to keep company and never betray each other.

Bronze is the alloy of copper, stannum and plumbum. After the invention of this alloy 5,000 years ago, bronze prevailed immediately and led our ancestors into a newstage – the bronze era.Generally speaking, bronze culture underwent three stages, that is, the forming period, the thriving period, and the turning period. The forming period indicates the Longshan Culture 4,500 – 4,000 years ago in the Neolithic Age; while the thriving period from Xia, Shang to the Zhou Dynasties (11th century BC – 221 BC), the artistic achievements of bronze vessels were extremely brilliant: bronze was widely used mostly as musical instruments in sacrificial temples, as weapons of war and other vessels in court life.
