The trip was meant to farewell my foreign colleagues. We all had a great time together. The weather was fantastic(you describe something as fantastic or fantastical when it seems strange and wonderful or unlikely). We left the Guilin(桂林Guìlín) City at around 10:40AM and after a drive of about and hour and half, we arrived at the scenic spot of Guanyan(冠岩Guānyán) cave. One can either call it Guanyan cave or as some call it Crown cave, because the shape of the hill where the cave shapes like a crown. Instead of climbing the hill to the cave, we enjoyed the beautiful country scenery whilst traveling on the mono rail. The mono rail is simple to drive. The hills, the rivers and the singing of the birds around the mono rail make it a perfect picture scene.

It is my first time to take part in some sport affairs(if an event or a series of events has been mentioned and you want to talk about it again, you can refer to it as the affair) as a company member after graduation from the university. Although I had played a lot of football games(足球比赛zúqiú bǐsài) when I was a student, the feeling I had this time was different.

I am a new-comer, everything to me is strange. But I am full of confidence that I have the ability to stay here. There goes an old saying, 'Skill and confidence is an unconquered(not conquered) army.' All the staff here is easy-going, kind-hearted, hospitable, and beautiful, and the most important, they all with high comprehensive quality and ability. When you have faith in others, you will get the trust. It turned to be true that the staffs are knowledgeable, specialized, and the most important thing was that I saw their spirit and enthusiasm, everyone is hard-working. I can see that they love their work. The working environment(工作环境gōngzuò huánjìng) is spacious and bright. The atmosphere is harmonious and relaxing. You have enough space to indulge your imagination. Everyone needs a suitable environment to make fullest use of their ability, while working under restriction will be an obstacle to ones work.

The bus left at about 10AM and the time on the bus was good for me because one of our guests, Guenter, came with us to Yangshuo. He is at 71 old years old but is a man of incredible energy, we had a great talk during the driving, he was in crazy love of traveling, especially in traveling by bike. He is informed and knows many things and languages which helped me a lot to better understand him and the world outside. It would be a busy two days, so some of my colleague were resting in the bus.

I always like to introduce Guilin(桂林Guìlín) to foreigners, it is not only beautiful natural scenery city, but it is a historical city in China. In the mean time, I also ask them a cute question “Do you know why the city is called ‘Guilin’”, most of them surely do not know exact answer.

On Wednesday we were invited to attend one of the first presentations of the new acrobatic show "Journey to the West"(西游记Xī Yóu Jì) in the acrobatic(an acrobatic movement or display involves difficult physical acts such as jumping and balancing, especially in a circus) theater. Many of my colleagues wanted to attend this presentation and after having dinner together we went to the theater, which is facing the Li River. In the entrance hall there was a huge picture of a Buddha, lots of people entered the building and searched for their seats.

Saturday afternoon I met Cindy, or Ms Liu, with whom I drive to the airport of Guilin(桂林Guìlín) City. At 3.45pm we welcomed an Indian(印度的Yìndù de) Group of 32 people. It was easy to recognize them especially because of the beautiful, bright colored Saris the women were wearing. They were of mixed ages but all in a very good mood and friendly. After everyone had taken a seat in the air-conditioned bus, we took a 90 minutes drive to Elephant Trunk Hill. Already when we entered the gate, I had the feeling of being part of the group: the Indians were very warmly and integrated me. We walked around the scenic spot and had some time to take pictures of the symbol of Guilin. Everyone liked this place. At 6pm we returned to the bus and drove to the hotel, where the group was checked in and got their rooms. After a short refreshing break we had dinner in a hotel nearby.
