Chinese Festival: Qingming Festival

Introduction Qingming Festival (also known as Tomb-sweeping Day)(清明节 qīng míng ji é), which falls on either April 4th or 5th of the gregorian calendar(阳历 yáng lì ), is one of the Chinese Twenty-four Solar Terms(二十四节气 èr shí sì ji é  qì ) . From that date temperatures begin to rise and rainfall increases, indicating that it's the important time for plowing and sowing in the spring. Therefore Qingming Festival has a connection with agriculture.
