Sometimes they even attract more attention than the cars on display. The Shanghai Auto Show is trying to have a different narrative this year, as models have been banned from the event.<br \/>  \u4f46\u51e1\u63d0\u5230\u8f66\u5c55\uff0c\u5927\u5bb6\u603b\u662f\u4f1a\u60f3\u5230\u7a7f\u7740\u66b4\u9732\u7684\u8f66\u6a21\uff0c\u5979\u4eec\u7684\u5438\u5f15\u529b\u6709\u65f6\u751a\u81f3\u4f1a\u8d85\u8fc7\u8f66\u672c\u8eab\u3002\u4eca\u5e74\u7684\u4e0a\u6d77\u8f66\u5c55\u5168\u9762\u53d6\u6d88\u4e86\u8f66\u6a21\uff0c\u60c5\u51b5\u5c31\u4e0d\u4e00\u6837\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n<p>  To protest(\u6297\u8bae) the new policy, a bunch of models(\u4e00\u7fa4\u6a21\u7279) held boards that read &quot;We want to survive!&quot;(\u6211\u4eec\u8981\u751f\u5b58), &quot;All efforts to slim down have been in vain!&quot;(\u7626\u8eab\u7684\u82e6\u767d\u5403\u4e86) in Shanghai streets, all the while dressing in &quot;rags&quot; and smearing &quot;dirt&quot; on their faces.<\/p>\n<p>  Although the auto show(\u8f66\u5c55) is coming to an end today, the co<em><\/em>ntroversy(\u4e89\u8bae) seems far from over(\u8fdc\u6ca1\u7ed3\u675f). The event&rsquo;s organizing committee has come out and explained that the ban is in place so that visitors could focus more on the cars(\u66f4\u5173\u6ce8\u8f66).<\/p>\n<p>  Regardless of(\u4e0d\u7ba1) whether the protest will actually affect(\u5f71\u54cd) any future decisions, models have o<em><\/em>nce again(\u518d\u6b21) outshined cars at the auto show.
