This is actually a verb, so you don&rsquo;t need to use any other words to talk about something being somewhere.<\/p>\n<p>  \tThe structure is:<\/p>\n<p>  \t[something] \u5728 [place]<br \/>  \tHave a look at some example:<\/p>\n<p>  \t\u6211\u5728\u8fd9\u91cc\u3002<br \/>  \tW\u01d2 z&agrave;i zh&egrave;l\u01d0.<br \/>  \tI am here.<br \/>  \t\u4f60\u5728\u90a3\u91cc\u3002<br \/>  \tN\u01d0 z&agrave;i n&agrave;l\u01d0.<br \/>  \tYou are there.<br \/>  \t\u4e0a\u6d77\u5728\u4e2d\u56fd\u3002<br \/>  \tSh&agrave;ngh\u01cei z&agrave;i Zh\u014dnggu&oacute;.<br \/>  \tShanghai is in China.<br \/>  \t\u732b\u5728\u6c99\u53d1\u4e0a\u3002<br \/>  \tM\u0101o z&agrave;i sh\u0101f\u0101 sh&agrave;ng.<br \/>  \tThe cat is on the sofa.<br \/>  \tNotice how English uses the verb &ldquo;to be&rdquo; where Chinese uses \u5728.
