Depending on the type of vehicle, we describe the action of taking it with the Mandarin Chinese co-verbs \u5750 (zu&ograve;) or \u9a0e\/\u9a91 (q&iacute;).<br \/>  Zu&ograve; &ndash; Ride On A Seat<\/p>\n<p>  The co-verb \u5750 (zu&ograve;) is used with any vehicle in which you can sit down. This includes cars, buses, trains, boats, or planes.<br \/>  Q&iacute; &#8211; Straddle<\/p>\n<p>  The co-verb \u9a0e\/\u9a91 (q&iacute;) is used for any means of co<em><\/em>nveyance that you have to straddle, such as a motorcycle, bicycle, or horse. <\/p>\n<p>  Sentence Construction<\/p>\n<p>  The structure of sentences which use either \u5750 or \u9a0e\/\u9a91 is as follows:<\/p>\n<p>  SUBJECT &ndash; \u5750 or \u9a0e\/\u9a91 + NOUN &ndash; DIRECTION &ndash; \u4f86\/\u6765 or \u53bb<\/p>\n<p>  For example:<\/p>\n<p>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u4ed6\u5750\u8239\u5230\u6f8e\u6e56\u7fa4\u5cf6\u53bb\u3002<br \/>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u4ed6\u5750\u8239\u5230\u6f8e\u6e56\u7fa4\u5c9b\u53bb\u3002<br \/>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; T\u0101 zu&ograve; chu&aacute;n d&agrave;o p&eacute;ng h&uacute; q&uacute;nd\u01ceo q&ugrave;.<br \/>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He took a boat to the Peng Hu islands. (Literally: He by boat to Peng Hu islands go.) <\/p>\n<p>  Here are a few more examples:<\/p>\n<p>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u4ed6\u5011\u5750\u98db\u6a5f\u53bb\u3002<br \/>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u4ed6\u4eec\u5750\u98de\u673a\u53bb\u3002<br \/>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; T\u0101men zu&ograve; f\u0113ij\u012b q&ugrave;.<br \/>  &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; They went by plane.
