Mandarin fractions has a lot of ways to say. So today we can learn some Mandarin Fractions.<\/p>\n

Parts of a Whole<\/strong>
Divisio<\/em>nal fractions and percentages are stated as “XX parts of YY,” with YY being the whole.<\/p>\n

An example of this in English is:<\/p>\n

two parts of three (two thirds)<\/strong>
The co<\/em>nstruction of this phrase is YY f\u0113n zh\u012b XX. Note that the number representing the whole comes at the beginning:<\/p>\n

Decimal Fractions
Fractions can also be stated as decimals.<\/p>\n

The decimal point in Mandarin decimal fractions is stated as di\u01cen (\u9ede trad. \u70b9 simp.)<\/p>\n

If the number begins with the decimal point, it can optio<\/em>nally be prefaced with líng (zero). Each digit of the decimal fraction is stated individually.<\/p>\n
