Hey, ML, I&rsquo;m curious how you keep yourself always in the pink.<\/p>\n<p>  M: That&rsquo;s because I eat a lot of fruit every day. \u56e0\u4e3a\u6211\u6bcf\u5929\u90fd\u5403\u5f88\u591a\u6c34\u679c\u3002<\/p>\n<p>  S: So today we&rsquo;ll start learning the names of some very common fruits, such as p&iacute;nggu\u01d2, which we learnt in last lesson. Listen carefully and try to mimic us, very im<em><\/em>portant.<\/p>\n<p>  S: ML, what are you eating? N\u01d0z&agrave;i ch\u012b sh&eacute;nme? \u4f60\u5728\u5403\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f<\/p>\n<p>  M: I&rsquo;m eating an apple. \u6211\u5728\u5403\u82f9\u679c\u3002W\u01d2z&agrave;i ch\u012b p&iacute;nggu\u01d2.<\/p>\n<p>  S: It seems very good to eat! K&agrave;nq\u01d0l&aacute;i h\u011bn h\u01ceoch\u012b. \u770b\u8d77\u6765\u5f88\u597d\u5403\uff01<\/p>\n<p>  M: That&rsquo;s right! \u6c34\u679c\u90fd\u5f88\u597d\u5403\u3002All fruit is good to eat. Shu\u01d0gu\u01d2 d\u014du h\u011bnh\u01ceoch\u012b.<\/p>\n<p>  S: Yes, I can see that! On your table I also saw oranges, grapes, peaches and pears. Z&agrave;i n\u01d0de zhu\u014dzi sh&agrave;ng w\u01d2h&aacute;i k&agrave;nd&agrave;ole ch&eacute;ngzi, p&uacute;tao, t&aacute;ozi, he y\u0101l&iacute;.<\/p>\n<p>  M: Ok, now let&rsquo;s look at the new stuff.<\/p>\n<p>  S: I asked ML why she always looks so healthy, she answered &ndash;<\/p>\n<p>  M: Y\u012bnw&eacute;i w\u01d2 m\u011biti\u0101n d\u014duch\u012b h\u011bndu\u014d shu\u01d0gu\u01d2. \u56e0\u4e3a\u6211\u6bcf\u5929\u90fd\u5403\u5f88\u591a\u6c34\u679c\u3002\u6bcf\uff0cMEI, m\u011bi, third tone, means &lsquo;every&rsquo;. M\u011biti\u0101n, every day, m\u011biti\u0101n. Shu\u01d0gu\u01d2, SHUI GUO, \u6c34\u679c, means &lsquo;fruit&rsquo;. \u6211\u6bcf\u5929\u90fd\u5403\u5f88\u591a\u6c34\u679c\u3002I eat a lot of fruit every day.<\/p>\n<p>  S: Then I asked ML, &lsquo;\u4f60\u5728\u5403\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f&rsquo; What are you eating now? N\u01d0 z\u01cei ch\u012b sh&eacute;nme? We&rsquo;ve learnt the word &lsquo;z&agrave;i&rsquo;, as in &lsquo;z&agrave;i zhu\u014dzi sh&agrave;ng&rsquo;, on the table; and &lsquo;z&agrave;i y\u01d0zi xi&agrave;mian&rsquo;, under the chair. But here it indicates an action in progress. Listen carefully and find out how ML answers my question.<\/p>\n<p>  M: \u6211\u5728\u5403\u82f9\u679c\u3002I&rsquo;m eating an apple. W\u01d2z&agrave;i ch\u012b p&iacute;nggu\u01d2.<\/p>\n<p>  S: Very simple. Just add the &lsquo;z&agrave;i&rsquo; in front of the verb, and you get the present co<em><\/em>ntinuous tense.<\/p>\n<p>  M: More examples. Remember how to say &lsquo;playing tennis&rsquo;? Right. \u6253\u7f51\u7403\uff0cd\u01cew\u01cengq&iacute;u. So how do we say, I&rsquo;m playing tennis?<\/p>\n<p>  S: H\u011bnh\u01ceo. W\u01d2z&agrave;i d\u01cew\u01cengq&iacute;u. \u6211\u5728\u6253\u7f51\u7403\u3002<\/p>\n<p>  M: And remember jogging is? Du&igrave;le, \u8dd1\u6b65\uff0cp\u01ceob&ugrave;. So, how do we say &ldquo;I am jogging&rdquo;?<\/p>\n<p>  S: M&eacute;icu&ograve;, w\u01d2z&agrave;i p\u01ceob&ugrave;. \u6211\u5728\u8dd1\u6b65\u3002Did you guys have all the above correct? You did? Congratulations! Let&rsquo;s have a break.<\/p>\n<p>  M: I am eating an apple. \u6211\u5728\u5403\u82f9\u679c\u3002W\u01d2z&agrave;i ch\u012b p&iacute;nggu\u01d2.<\/p>\n<p>  S: Hmm, k&agrave;nq\u01d0l&aacute;i h\u011bn h\u01ceoch\u012b! Seems very good to eat! \u770b\u8d77\u6765\u5f88\u597d\u5403\uff01<\/p>\n<p>  M: Shu\u01d0gu\u01d2 d\u014duh\u011bn h&agrave;och\u012b. Literally, Fruits all very good to eat. Of course it means, &lsquo;all fruits are very delicious.&rsquo; \u6c34\u679c\u90fd\u5f88\u597d\u5403\u3002\u6c34\u679c\u90fd\u5f88\u597d\u5403\u3002<\/p>\n<p>  S: And ML means it: on her table I also saw oranges, grapes, peaches and pears.
