The term was coined on June 27, 2013, by three economists at Barclays Capital.

The three pillars of Likonomics are no stimulus measures, deleveraging and structural reform. It represents the concept of creating short-term pain in order to extract long-term benefits. The essence of the course is not to emphasize what the government should do but rather what the government should not do. The basic characteristics of Likonomics are strengthening the market, deregulation and improving supply.

Some economists believe the policies are essential for sustained economic growth. While the Chinese economy could experience slower growth in the next 3 years, a quick rebound will emerge following that. The economic growth rate will remain at 6-8 percent over the next ten years.

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:block;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1889418300638825"
data-ad-slot="7273022922"
data-ad-layout-key="-gw-3+1f-3d+2z"
data-ad-format="fluid"></ins>

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang delivers a speech at the 2nd China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFITIS) and

[4,2840

post-6773","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-chinese-words-phrases","category-polular-word
["GET
