The owner of the white Jetta was identified soon to be Qi Youfa, the owner of a climbing equipment business. But what happened to him was the worst that Liu Mingtian expected to hear. He was missing the day before the robbery.<\/p>\n

According to Qi’s employee, he left work early that day and drove away in his car with his mistress. His family never heard back from him since then. His wife couldn’t reach him by his cell phone so she reported his missing to the police around noon the next day.<\/p>\n

Cui Yan, Qi’s mistress, didn’t return to her rented apartment that night either. According to her roomate, Cui Yan left her renting place in the afternoon. She told her that she was to date her boyfriend and would be back late. However, she never came back.
