C: Good morning, I’m Cam. Well, we are almost at the end of the week. It’s time for us to review what we’ve learned.
Y: Yeah. This week we mainly focused on numbers and some sentences related to numbers. Let’s review.<\/p>\n

First we learned 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 and 10. And sentences: 4\u53e3\u4eba\uff0c7\u672c\u4e66\uff0cand 10\u70b9\u3002

Y: Cam do you still remember how to say the numbers from zero to ten in Chinese? <\/span>
C: I sure do. They are 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 (All in Chinese).
Y: Great! Again, 0 is líng, 1 is y\u012b, 2 is èr, 3 is s\u0101n, 4 is sì, 5 is w\u01d4, 6 is liù, 7 is q\u012b, 8 is b\u0101, 9 is ji\u01d4, and 10 is shí. Let’s do it again. <\/span>
Y&C: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 (in Chinese).
Y: Also during the week we learned that\u53e3can be a measure word for people, and \u4eba means people. So we can say 4\u53e3\u4eba. And\u672c is a measure word for books; \u4e66 means book. So 6\u672c\u4e66 means 6 books.  \u70b9 means o’clock, and 10\u70b9 means 10 o’clock.<\/p>\n

We also learned numbers from 11 to 100. 19 is shíji\u01d4, 47 is sìshíq\u012b, 82 is b\u0101shí’èr and 100 is yìb\u01cei. And also \u621125\u5c81\uff0c\u6211 31\u5c81\u3002

Y: Cam, remember how to read double figures in Chinese?
C: That’s a bit complicated. <\/span>
Y: Read the number on the ten’s place first, add shí after that, and then  the number on the unit’s place. For example: 38 is s\u0101nshíb\u0101.
Y: 62 is liùshíèr
C: 62 is liùshíèr <\/span>
Y: 95 is ji\u01d4shíw\u01d4.
C: ji\u01d4shíw\u01d4.
Y: Yeah. And if it is a number between 10 and 20 you can just say “shi ”and then the number. 11 is shíy\u012b; 14 is shísì and 17 is shíq\u012b
C:  shíy\u012b shísì shíq\u012b. And 100 is…

C: yìb\u01ce\u01d0
Y: We have another word which means year: \u5c81
