Today we will learn the negative form.<br \/>  Yajie: First let&rsquo;s check key words of the day.<\/p>\n<p>***************<strong>Key words of the day<\/strong><br \/>  Today we will  learn to ask questions in the negative form such as, Won&rsquo;t you go to  the company today? \u4eca\u5929\u4f60\u4e0d\u53bb\u516c\u53f8\u5417 \u516c\u53f8, company. \u5b66\u6821, school. \u8d85\u5e02, supermarket.<br \/>  ****************<\/p>\n<p>Yajie: \u4eca\u5929\u4f60\u4e0d\u53bb\u516c\u53f8\u5417\uff1fWon&rsquo;t you go to the company today?<br \/>  Cam: \u4eca\u5929\u4f60\u4e0d\u53bb\u516c\u53f8\u5417? (jintian ni bu qu go<em><\/em>ngsi ma?)<br \/>  Yajie: \u4eca\u5929, today. (jintian ni bu qu go<em><\/em>ngsi ma?)<\/p>\n<p>Co<em><\/em>nversations(1):<\/p>\n<p>Cam: I&rsquo;m a little bit co<em><\/em>nfused after listening to the conversations,  especially the answers to the questions. I think they are quite  different from English. <br \/>  Yajie: You can say \u662f, yes, or\u4e0d, no. Then  comes your statement. For instance if you don&rsquo;t want to go to company  today, you may say, \u662f\u7684\uff0c\u4eca\u5929\u6211\u4e0d\u53bb\u516c\u53f8\u3002The first part\u662f\u7684 is to co<em><\/em>nfirm the  question brought up. <br \/>  Cam: \u662f\u7684(shi de) means yes.&nbsp; Such as yes, I will not go to the company today.<br \/>  Yajie: Right.&nbsp; After shi de, add \u4eca\u5929\u6211\u4e0d\u53bb\u516c\u53f8\u3002(jintian wo bu qu gongsi) I won&rsquo;t go to the company today. <br \/>  Cam: \u4eca\u5929\u6211\u4e0d\u53bb\u516c\u53f8\u3002(jintian wo bu qu gongsi)<br \/>  Yajie: Also if you are working for the state-owned company in China, you may call it \u5355\u4f4d(danwei), work unit.<br \/>  Cam: \u5355\u4f4d(danwei).<br \/>  Yajie: \u5355,d-a-n, the first tone; \u4f4d, w-e-i, the fourth tone. <br \/>  Cam: \u5355\u4f4d(danwei).<br \/>  Yajie: You know the Chinese word for school?<br \/>  Cam: Is it \u5b66\u6821(xuexiao)?<br \/>  Yajie: \u5b66x-u-e, the second tone; \u6821x-i-a-o, the fourth tone.<br \/>  Cam: \u5b66\u6821(xuexiao).<\/p>\n<p>Co<em><\/em>nversations(2):<\/p>\n<p>Cam: I remember that we&rsquo;ve learned the Chinese word for supermarket, which is \u8d85\u5e02(chaoshi), right?&nbsp; <br \/>  Yajie:  Right.
