Participants were able to learn Chinese calligraphy on-site, practice Chinese martial art and qigong (a system of deep breathing exercises). The Chinese Corner, a weekly Chinese language and cultural gathering, attracted lots of non-native Chinese speakers to chat in and practice Chinese in a welcoming and friendly enviro<em><\/em>nment and enjoy traditio<em><\/em>nal Chinese cuisines.<\/p>\n<p>  \u7ebd\u7ea6\u5e02\u8bae\u5458\u6587\u68ee\u7279?\u771f\u8482\u83b1\u4e5f\u5728\u8fd9\u6240\u5b54\u5b50\u5b66\u9662\u5b66\u4e60\u4e2d\u6587\u8bfe\u7a0b\u3002\u4ed6\u8bf4\uff1a&ldquo;\u7ebd\u7ea6\u5e02\u662f\u4e00\u5ea7\u56fd\u9645\u5316\u5927\u90fd\u5e02\uff0c\u5b54\u5b50\u5b66\u9662\u5efa\u5728\u6b64\u5730\u610f\u4e49\u975e\u51e1\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u6709\u673a\u4f1a\u5728\u8fd9\u91cc\u5b66\u4e60\u4e2d\u6587\uff0c\u66f4\u6df1\u5165\u5730\u4e86\u89e3\u5f7c\u6b64\u7684\u6587\u5316\uff0c&rdquo;<br \/>  New York Council Member Vincent Gentile is taking a Chinese course at the Co<em><\/em>nfucius Institute. &quot;New York City is a cosmopolitan city and it is so great to have the Co<em><\/em>nfucius Institute here.
