It is said that it originated from the early Ming Dynasty and took shape in the early Qing Dynasty.<br \/>  \u7ecd\u5174\u5e73\u6e56\u8c03\u7684\u8868\u6f14\u65b9\u5f0f\u4e3a\u4e00\u4eba\u81ea\u5f39\u4e09\u5f26\u8bf4\u5531\uff0c\u4ee5\u5531\u4e3a\u4e3b\uff0c\u95f4\u6709\u8bf4\u767d\u3002\u53e6\u6709\u4e8c\u4eba\u3001\u56db\u4eba\u6216\u516d\u4eba\u4e13\u53f8\u4f34\u594f\uff0c\u79f0\u4e3a&quot;\u4e09\u54c1&quot;\u3001&quot;\u4e94\u54c1&quot;\u6216&quot;\u4e03\u54c1&quot;\u3002\u4e3b\u8981\u7684\u5531\u8154\u66f2\u8c03\u4e3a\u3010\u5e73\u6e56\u8c03\u3011\uff0c\u5177\u4f53\u53c8\u5206\u3010\u84d1\u8863\u8c31\u3011\u548c\u3010\u7ec6\u8c03\u3011\u4e24\u79cd\u3002\u5176\u8282\u76ee\u5206&quot;\u8282\u8bd7&quot;\u548c&quot;\u56de\u4e66&quot;\u4e24\u79cd\uff0c&quot;\u8282\u8bd7&quot;\u4e3a\u77ed\u7bc7\u5531\u6bb5\uff0c&quot;\u56de\u4e66&quot;\u4e3a\u4e2d\u957f\u7bc7\u5185\u5bb9\u3002\u7ecd\u5174\u5e73\u6e56\u8c03\u7684\u4f20\u7edf\u8282\u76ee\u6709\u300a\u7518\u7f57\u8bb0\u300b\u3001\u300a\u53e4\u7389\u676f\u300b\u3001\u300a\u53cc\u9c7c\u5760\u300b\u3001\u300a\u53cc\u73e0\u51e4\u300b\u3001\u300a\u767d\u86c7\u4f20\u300b\u3001\u300a\u7389\u873b\u8713\u300b\u548c\u300a\u5341\u7f8e\u56fe\u300b\u7b49\u3002<br \/>  It is performed in the form of a chorus co<em><\/em>nsisting of one person narrating and singing while playing the Sanxian (a three-stringed plucked instrument) by himself (wher the performing form is mainly co<em><\/em>nducted by singing with a few monologues) and of two, four or six accompanists known as &quot;San Pin&quot;, &quot;Wu Pin&quot; or &quot;Qi Pin&quot;. The major tune of Shaoxing pinghu diao is [pinghu diao], which can be subdivided into [suoyi pu] and [xi diao]. Its shows include &quot;jie shi&quot; (short-length arias) and &quot;hui shu&quot; (medium-length and long-length arias). The traditio<em><\/em>nal shows of Shaoxing pinghu diao include Records of Gan Luo(or Gan Luo Ji), A Jade Cup(or Gu Yu Bei), A Pendant Shaped Like two Fishes(or Shuang Yu Zhui), The Love story between Huo Dingjin and Wen Bizheng(or Shuang Zhu Feng), Legend of White Snake(or Bai She Zhuan) , A Jade Drago<em><\/em>nfly (or Yu Qing Ting), Ten beauties(or Shi Mei Tu) and so on.<br \/>  \u5e73\u6e56\u8c03\u6587\u8f9e\u9ad8\u96c5\uff0c\u66f2\u8c03\u4f18\u7f8e\uff0c\u65cb\u5f8b\u4e30\u5bcc\uff0c\u98ce\u683c\u72ec\u7279\uff0c\u5177\u6709\u8f83\u5f3a\u7684\u6587\u5b66\u6027\u3001\u97f3\u4e50\u6027\u548c\u827a\u672f\u6027\uff0c\u662f\u660e\u6e05\u6c5f\u5357\u66f2\u827a\u5531\u66f2\u827a\u672f\u5728\u7ecd\u5174\u7684\u4f20\u627f\u548c\u53d1\u5c55\uff0c\u5b83\u5bf9\u4e8e\u57f9\u80b2\u548c\u63d0\u9ad8\u6d41\u4f20\u5730\u6c11\u4f17\u7684\u6587\u5316\u7d20\u517b\uff0c\u6709\u7740\u5341\u5206\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u4f5c\u7528\u3002<br \/>  Pinghu diao, with relatively strong literariness, musicality and artistry in its elegant wording, beautiful tunes, rich melodies and unique style, is the result of inheritance and development of folk vocal art of south of the Yangtze River in Shaoxing.
