Xiang (Hunanese) is spoken by roughly 36 million people in China, mainly in <strong>Hunan<\/strong> (\u6e56\u5357 H&uacute;n&aacute;n)&nbsp;province, especially in the cities of <strong>Changsha<\/strong> (\u957f\u6c99 Ch\u01cengsh\u0101), <strong>Zhuzhou<\/strong> (\u682a\u6d32 Zh\u016bzh\u014du), <strong>Xiangtan<\/strong> (\u6e58\u6f6d Xi\u0101ngt&aacute;n), <strong>Yiyang<\/strong> (\u76ca\u9633 Y&igrave;y&aacute;ng), <strong>Loudi<\/strong> (\u5a04\u5e95 L&oacute;ud\u01d0), <strong>Hengyang<\/strong>\uff08\u8861\u9633 H&eacute;ngy&aacute;ng\uff09and <strong>Shaoyang<\/strong> (\u90b5\u9633 Sh&agrave;oy&aacute;ng).
