The Shanghai International Film Festival is a non-specialized competitive film festival and a Class A international film festival accredited by the<strong> International Federation of Film Producers Associations <\/strong>(\u56fd\u9645\u7535\u5f71\u5236\u7247\u4eba\u534f\u4f1a gu&oacute;j&igrave; di&agrave;ny\u01d0ng zh&igrave;pi&agrave;nr&eacute;n xi&eacute;hu&igrave;).<\/p>\n<p>  \tIt sponsored by the state administration of radio, film and television and the Shanghai municipal government, Shanghai international film festival organization committee to undertake. The Shanghai international film festival was initiated in 1993, with the purpose of promoting mutual understanding and ties among countries and regions worldwide, enhancing the film art and boosting the development of film industry. It is held once every year since the fifth festival.The festival has its own special organizing committee, which is in charge of the preparation and organizing work.<\/p>\n<p>  \tThe festival comprises four major activities, namely the appraisal of <strong>the Golden Goblet Award<\/strong> (\u91d1\u7235\u5956 j\u012bnju&eacute; Ji\u01ceng), the international film exhibition, international trade fair of films and TV programs, and the international film academic seminar.
