In other words, the action is done &quot;not often.&quot; When the verb is used with an object, it also means that the number (or quantity) is really small.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>  \t<strong>Examples<\/strong>  \t<\/p>\n<div>T\u0101 b&ugrave; z\u011bn me x\u01d0 hu\u0251n shu\u014dhu&agrave;.<br \/>  \t\u4ed6 \u4e0d\u600e\u4e48 \u559c\u6b22\u8bf4\u8bdd\u3002<\/div>\n<div>He doesn&#39;t like talking too much.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>  \tNote that the last example uses \u6ca1 instead of \u4e0d. This is because the verb uses or implies \u6709 it uses the same the \u6709 negation rules.<\/p>\n<p>  \tLastly, make sure to use \u4e0d\u600e\u4e48 with a verb if you want it to mean &quot;not often&quot;.
