It is popular for both the Han people and many other ethnic groups. As for its orgin\uff0cone story says that the Double-Third Festival was exactly the ancient Shangsi Festival\uff0cwhich was on the first si day of the third month in the Chinese lunar calendar in ancient times. Some said that it came from the Dinner Party at the Qushui River of the Zhou Dynasty\uff081046BC-221BC\uff09.Others said that it came down from the custom of a ceremony to get rid of the evils by bathing in the river.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div>\u53e4\u4eba\u5728\u8fd9\u4e00\u5929\uff0c\u8981\u5230\u6c34\u8fb9\u53bb\u4e3e\u884c\u796d\u7940\u4eea\u5f0f\uff0c\u7528\u9999\u718f\u8349\u836f\u6c90\u6d74\uff0c\u4ee5\u7953\u9664\u6c61\u6e0d\u4e0e\u79fd\u6c14\u3002\u7136\u540e\uff0c\u4f1a\u5c55\u5f00\u9752\u5e74\u7537\u5973\u6625\u6e38\u548c\u8c08\u60c5\u8bf4\u7231\u7684\u751f\u52a8\u573a\u666f\uff0c\u8ba9\u4eba\u6d41\u8fde\u5fd8\u8fd4\u3002\u8fd9\u79cd\u573a\u666f\uff0c\u5728\u300a\u8bd7\u7ecf\u300b\u4e2d\u5c31\u6709\u8fc7\u5f62\u8c61\u7684\u63cf\u8ff0\u3002<\/div>\n<div>On which people would hold a sacrificing ceremony on the riverside to honor their ancerstors, and then take a bath in the river with berbs to get rid of the filth from their bodies. Followed that is attractive-young men and women would go for a spring outing and romance\uff0cand its wonderful scene was vividly described in Shi Jing\uff08The Book of Songs\uff09.<\/div>\n<p>  \t<\/p>\n<div>\u4e0a\u5df3\u8282\u7684\u6d3b\u52a8\u5185\u5bb9\uff0c\u5386\u4ee3\u90fd\u6709\u53d8\u5316\u3002\u6c49\u4ee3\u53c8\u589e\u52a0\u4e86\u4e34\u6c34\u5bb4\u5bbe\u548c\u6c42\u5b50\u3002\u9b4f\u664b\u4ee5\u540e\uff0c\u4e0a\u5df3\u6539\u4e3a\u4e09\u6708\u4e09\u3002\u4e1c\u664b\u4e66\u6cd5\u5bb6\u738b\u7fb2\u4e4b\u7684\u300a\u5170\u4ead\u96c6\u5e8f\u300b\uff0c\u8bb0\u8f7d\u4e86\u5f53\u65f6\u7684\u6587\u4eba\u58a8\uff0c\u5ba2\u5728\u7ecd\u5174\u5170\u4ead\u4fee\u798a\uff0c\u541f\u8bd7\u996e\u9152\uff0c\u66f2\u6c34\u6d41\u89de\u7684\u98ce\u6d41\u96c5\u4e8b\uff0c\u8fd9\u662f\u8bb8\u591a\u4eba\u90fd\u719f\u77e5\u7684\u638c\u6545\u3002<\/div>\n<div>The activities of the Shangsi Festival have varied with times. The entertainment feast and praying for descendants along the riverside wee added in the Han Dynasty\uff08206BC-220AD\uff09.It was after the Wei and Jin dynasties \uff08220AD-420AD\uff09that the Shangsi Festival developed into the Double-Third Festival. The calligrapher Wang Xizhi in the Eastern Jin Dynasty\uff08317AD-420AD\uff09recorded in his Preface to the Collectionof Lanting Poems about how those men of pen took a bath to get rid of filth and how they chanted poems while drinking from the drifting cups along the winding river. These well-known stories have become literary river. These well-known stories have become literary anecdotes in history.<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p><div>\u5510\u4ee3\uff0c\u6bcf\u9022\u6b64\u8282\uff0c\u7687\u5e1d\u8981\u5728\u66f2\u6c5f\u5927\u5bb4\u7fa4\u81e3\uff0c\u6c11\u95f4\u7537\u5973\u4e5f\u559c\u6b22\u5230\u6c34\u8fb9\u996e\u5bb4\u6e38\u73a9\uff0c\u957f\u5b89\u4e00\u5e26\u8fd8\u6709\u6597\u767e\u8349\u6e38\u620f\u3002\u660e\u6e05\u4ee5\u540e\uff0c\u7953\u798a\u9010\u6e10\u6de1\u51fa\uff0c\u884d\u53d8\u4e3a\u6625\u6e38\uff0c\u6c11\u95f4\u6709\u6d41\u676f\u3001\u6d41\u5375\u3001\u6d41\u67a3\u3001\u4e5e\u5b50\u3001\u6234\u67f3\u5708\u3001\u63a2\u6625\u3001\u8e0f\u3001\u5403\u9752\u7cb3\u996d\u3001\u4e3e\u884c\u6b4c\u4f1a\u7b49\u6d3b\u52a8\u5185\u5bb9\uff0c\u751f\u6d3b\u6c14\u606f\u5341\u5206\u6d53\u90c1\u3002\u53c8\u7531\u4e8e\u4e0a\u5df3\u7684\u65f6\u95f4\u4e0e\u6e05\u660e\u76f8\u8fd1\uff0c\u540e\u6765\u4fbf\u4e0e\u6e05\u660e\u8282\u5408\u800c\u552f\u4e3a\u4e00\u3002\u4eca\u5929\u7684\u8bb8\u591a\u9752\u5e74\u4eba\u5219\u5df2\u7ecf\u53ea\u77e5\u9053\u6e05\u660e\u8282\u800c\u4e0d\u77e5\u9053\u4e0a\u5df3\u8282\u4e86\u3002<\/div>\n<div>Whenever this festival came in the Tang Dynasty\uff08618AD-907AD\uff09\uff0cthe emperpor would feast all his followers beside the river while the people\uff0cboth men and women\uff0cwould enjoy drinking\uff0cgoing sight-seeing or cricket-fighting as practiced in the area of the City of Chang&rsquo;an\uff0calong the river. After the Ming and Qing dunasties\uff081368AD-1911AD\uff09\uff0cthe practice of taking a bath to get rid of filth gradually developed into a spring outing which was featured with lively activities like drifting cups\uff0cdrifting eggs\uff0cdrifting dates\uff0cthrowing-stone\uff0cwearing willow-wreath\uff0cexploring for spring\uff0chiking\uff0chaving glutinous rice and antiphonal. As the shangsi Festival is very close in time to the Clear-and-Bright result\uff0cmany young people today only know something about the Clear-and-Bright Festival but have no idea about the Shangsi Festival.<\/div>\n<p>  \t<\/p>\n<div>\u800c\u5728\u4e00\u90e8\u5206\u5730\u533a\uff0c\u53c8\u6709\u4e09\u6708\u8282\u6216\u4e09\u6708\u4f1a\u7684\u4e60\u60ef\uff0c\u7a76\u5176\u65f6\u95f4\uff0c\u4e5f\u603b\u662f\u5728\u4e09\u6708\u4e09\u3002<\/div>\n<div>In some regions there has been a custom of observing the third Lunar Month Festival or the Third Lunar Month Fair\uff0cwhich is always held on the third day of the third lunar month.<\/div>\n<p>  \t<\/p>\n<div>\u4e09\u6708\u4e09,\u540c\u65f6\u53c8\u662f\u6211\u56fd\u5357\u65b9\u8bb8\u591a\u5c11\u6570\u6c11\u65cf\u7684\u4f20\u7edf\u8282\u65e5,\u6d41\u884c\u5728\u58ee\u3001\u4f97\u3001\u5e03\u4f9d\u3001\u6c34\u3001\u4eeb\u4f6c\u3001\u6bdb\u5357\u3001\u82d7\u3001\u7476\u3001\u7572\u7b49\u6c11\u65cf\u4e2d\u95f4\u3002<\/div>\n<div>In South China\uff0cthe Double-Third Festival is also a traditional festival among many ethnic minorities like Zhuang\uff0cDong\uff0cBouyei\uff0cShui\uff0cOroqen\uff0cMaonan\uff0cYao and She.<\/div>\n<p>  \t<\/p>\n<div>\u58ee\u65cf\uff0c\u4e00\u822c\u5728\u8fd9\u5929\u8d76\u6b4c\u5729\uff0c\u642d\u6b4c\u68da\uff0c\u4e3e\u529e\u6b4c\u4f1a\uff0c\u8ba9\u9752\u5e74\u7537\u5973\u5bf9\u6b4c\u3001\u78b0\u86cb\u3001\u629b\u7ee3\u7403\uff0c\u8c08\u60c5\u8bf4\u7231\u3002\u4f20\u8bf4\u58ee\u65cf\u5386\u53f2\u4e0a\u6709\u4f4d\u6b4c\u4ed9\u5218\u4e09\u59d0\uff0c\u53c8\u79f0\u5218\u4e09\u59b9\u3002\u5979\u64c5\u957f\u6b4c\u5531\uff0c\u4e09\u4f4d\u79c0\u624d\u6765\u5bf9\u6b4c\uff0c\u90fd\u8d25\u5728\u5979\u624b\u4e0b\u3002\u540e\u6765\u5979\u9a91\u7740\u9ca4\u9c7c\u4e0a\u4e86\u5929\uff0c\u5728\u5e7f\u897f\u4e00\u5e26\u7559\u4e0b\u4e0d\u5c11\u4f73\u8bdd\u3002\u540e\u4eba\u7eaa\u5ff5\u5979\uff0c\u628a\u4e09\u6708\u4e09\u53eb\u505a&ldquo;\u6b4c\u4ed9\u8282&rdquo;\u3002<\/div>\n<div>On the third day of the third lunar month every year\uff0cthe Zhuang ethnic group will gather in the open to set up a singing tent and take part in a singing party\uff0cwhere young men and women sing in antiphonal style\uff0cbump eggs\uff0cthrow embroidered balls\uff0cand ecpress their love toeach other. There was once a Zhuang girl called Liu Sanjie \uff08Third Sister Liu\uff09\uff0cwho was very good at singing and even defeated three young men with her witty singing\uff0caccording to the legend. She later went up to Heaven on the back of a carp and became the Singing Goddess.
