Boil the walnuts in the boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain. Repeat one more time. (This removes any bitter taste from the walnuts). Drain and allow the walnuts to cool.<\/p>\n<p>  \tCut the bell peppers into bite-sized chunks. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with the 3 tablespoons water and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>  \tAdd 1 tablespoon oil to a frying pan or preheated wok. When the oil is hot, add the walnuts. Stir-fry briefly, then add the bell peppers and the pineapple slices. Stir in the sweet and sour sauce. Give the cornstarch mixture a quick restir and add.
