Kong Zi, known as Confucius,  was a Chinese educator and thinker who lived more than 2,000 years ago.  His surname was Kong and his full name was Kong Qiu. He was born into a  fallen noble family in the State of Lu(now Shandong province).He was  intelligent and loved learning since childhood. He became a learned and  accomplished man.<\/p>\n<p>He started providing education for commo<em><\/em>ners when he grew up,  believing that everybody, regardless of social status, was entitled to  education. He was the first teacher who advocated education for  commoners. With regards to teaching methods, he proposed teaching by  perso<em><\/em>nal example and in accordance with students&#8217; aptitudes.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/chinesemoment.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191121_5dd5775653dfa.jpg\" alt=\"\u5b54\u5b50 Confucius\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It is said Kong Zi had more than 3,000 students, 72 of whom became  very well-known. Kong Zi established Co<em><\/em>nfucianism which emphasizes  \u793cli(propriety), \u4e50yue(music), and \u4ec1ren(benevolence). He advocated running  state affairs with morality and etiquette. After Kong Zi&#8217;s death, his  disciples organized his teachings into The Analects which became the  sutra of all schools of Confucianism. Most rulers followed Co<em><\/em>nfucianism  and elevated Kong Zi to the status of the &quot;great sage&quot;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u5b54\u5b50\u5b66\u9662(k\u01d2ng z\u01d0 xu&eacute; yu&agrave;n),<\/strong> or the Co<em><\/em>nfucius Institute  as it is known to foreigners, is named after Kong Zi. Co<em><\/em>nfucius  Institutes are non-profit organization established in recent years by  China, which are devoted to teaching Chinese language and introducing  Chinese culture. One of their tasks is to provide standard and  authoritative textbooks and learning channels for Chinese-language  learners around the world. Up to now, 457 Co<em><\/em>nfucius Institutes and 707  Co<em><\/em>nfucius classes have been set up in more than 122 countries and  regions. The mean man aims at uniformity but not at harmony.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u6b32\u901f\u5219\u4e0d\u8fbe\uff0c\u89c1\u5c0f\u5229\u5219\u5927\u4e8b\u4e0d\u6210\u3002<\/strong><br \/>  If you have things done hastily, you will not reach the goal. If you o<em><\/em>nly see small gains, you will not accomplish great tasks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u5c81\u5bd2\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u77e5\u677e\u67cf\u4e4b\u540e\u51cb\u4e5f\u3002<\/strong><br \/>  o<em><\/em>nly when the year becomes cold do we know how the pine and the cypress are the last to fade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u541b\u5b50\u656c\u800c\u65e0\u5931\uff0c\u4e0e\u4eba\u606d\u800c\u6709\u793c\u3002\u56db\u6d77\u4e4b\u5185\uff0c\u7686\u5144\u5f1f\u4e5f\uff0c\u541b\u5b50\u4f55\u60a3\u4e4e\u65e0\u5144\u5f1f\u4e5f\u3002<br \/>  <\/strong>Let the  superior man never fail reverentially to order his own conduct, and let  him be respectful to others and observant of propriety:&#8211; then all  within the whole country will be his brothers. What has the superior man  to do with being distressed because he has no brothers?<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u4f55\u4ee5\u62a5\u5fb7\uff1f\u4ee5\u76f4\u62a5\u6028\uff0c\u4ee5\u5fb7\u62a5\u5fb7\u3002<\/strong><br \/>  With what then will you recompense kindness?
